I went to the island to play with others of course. But this island had 3 other people 2 girls and a boy. The boy was a hacker because his tpc pic was patrick star dabbing. Any way when i went out of the hut and onto the island they started to say things like "See if hes gay". At first i didnt know they was talking about me so i went to start fishing...then one of them said "lol Rainbow socks" and "hes gay" thats when i knew they were talking to me because i wear rainbow tights and plaid rainbow shorts. Then the guy his name had playcoin symbols in the front and back of his name. So it was like this (playcoin)link(playcoin). He rushed up to me scaring the fish i was trying to catch and hitting me with a net. I moved away to look for another and he followed me there trying to dig holes around me. They continued to make fun of my socks and calling me gay. I finally spoke up and kindly told them i was straight. They said "surrre" at one point they started calling me "Ouncle"? Afyer 4-5 minutes of that poop i went to the hut to try to leave and one of the girls said "gay man try to leave? ;(" i then explained once more that i was straight with a gf. They responded with "more like with a bf" thats when i turned of my game to error. Anything they got while at the island got erased. Ughhh y me...
today i had a bad CT experience...

You can leave without talking to Leilani at the counter. Just hit the newish Kapp'n icon that says home on the bottom screen. There is also a neat mute feature. You can also make it so you wont run into specific people on the CT anymore.

As I have never used CT, I never knew people were auch *******s on AC! Can't they just grow the **** up? Either way, if I was in that situation, I'd just fight fire with fire xD

I remember the first time I met a rude player on CT. It really annoyed me., but the next time, I just laughed it off. It wasn't long before I would either leave, or give them a hard time right back. It got to the point where they amused me. I just remind myself that they are probably very young. Maybe 12 or younger.

Club Tortimer is a joke. Half the time people will just reset your game for absolutely no reason and the other half you're waiting for someone to arrive who will. Just make a mad dash for the exclusive wetsuits and get out before someone resets them.
That's what I've been doing lately, thanks to one of your previous posts about island hopping, Jon. I'm looking for the island items...got the hibiscus hairpin today. Only cost me about 7000 bells, lol. I know I could buy them here on TBT, but this is more fun. In and out... I go to my own island to peacefully fish and catch bugs alone...ahhh.

I did it in search of the elusive silver axe, and I eventually found that, but since then, the axe has shown up 5 times on my offline island.
The toy hammer too!
Yes, silver axe appears on our own island.
What a few posters have said - shop for the items & then go, so you are on the island for probably around a minute - so called island hopping
- this is what I've always done, and other players really don't like it. It has been the reason why I've had some trouble on CT islands (I get blocked very fast, before I can leave, all they have to do is open their inventory).
All you can do then is either wait it out or error (& sometimes the other player errors). So you lose medals and the items.
I never engage with other players, mainly out of shyness, not trying to be rude, - that in itself has annoyed some of them enough to error on me.
Reason why island hopping isn't liked is that the game saves for everyone when you enter & also when you leave. I can see that it is annoying. (stops you playing).
Haven't been for years & with all the hacking doubtful I'll go now, I can forgo the exclusives, not worth it.

I have a unique and interesting way of dealing with people like this. I open up the menu and then leave my DS sat somewhere whilst I go do something else. The bully?s get bored because they don?t get a reaction and an added bonus is that they can?t leave without erroring themselves because I?m sat there with my menu open. XD.
