To get a second copy/3DS or not...

I'm currently having a dilemma about whether to download the digital copy to use as a second/cycling town.

There are two main reasons I want to do this:
-Help complete my villager picture collection- I can have random villagers and frequently TT to April Fools Day in order to get their pics and help with my collection.
-Help people get their dreamies- and I can have more villagers I want in town #2 as well!


But if I do get a second copy, I'd almost rather buy another 3DS and another physical copy and use it. Money isn't a factor here. The advantages to this would be:
-I can go back and forth and drop off pictures and other items between towns myself- no need to risk the involvement of a third party
-Just overall easier for me tbh.

I have been wanting an XL, so I could move my current SD card to the XL and make that my main town and main 3DS system, and use my old 3DS for cycling/picture farming.


So guys, what do you think I should do? Download digital to my current 3DS and use it? Upgrade to a 3DS and make that my main system? or just buy another normal 3DS to use for it? And most importantly, if I get an XL, can I move my current SD card to that system?

I have 2 3ds, and both physical copy of ac.
Not only it makes signing of signatures much easier, also selling to turnips.

I would say get another 3ds and ac.

Regarding memeory card, sorry im not sure.
