I'm not a fan of any of my villagers except Lolly and Soleil. Biskit moved away already, but I can't seem to get Chow to want to leave. Any tips?

It's supposedly random, I sorta believe it. Honestly the fastest way is to Time Travel and about every 2 days someone will want to move. They'll do the "Ding" and run up to you.
Keep in mind nobody else can move out if someone is already attempting to.
Complaining to the Town Hall does nothing. And hitting them with Nets and pushing 'em in pit falls I don't think affect anything.

savagely beat them over the head with a toy hammer or net.

If that doesn't work it should.

when isabell asks you if she can help you with anything else, click on that...this will be before you start your game...and then click set the time

well since I have 2 separate towns I TT on one and the other is my good Town that I don't TT in.

I check all my villagers (Mainly the ones I want to move out) then if nobody dings within the first or second time of them seeing me then they probably don't want to move so if they desired villager doesn't want to move TT to the next day. and so on 'till you get them to move.

Hope I helped.

P.S. TT= Time Travel

Hit them with the net! And I don't mean once or twice, go at it for like 5 minutes. If they get pissed off enough, they'll tell you the next day that they're moving. This is the best tip I've found, just worked last night when I wanted a villager to move.

Nice! Thanks! I like the fact that this game makes you wait to get things done, it's keeping me from going back to my mmos, and I didn't want to use time travelling.

I just had Shari run up to me and say she was going to move in a few days... I said that was fine instead of telling her not to leave, but then she got upset and insisted she's staying until we were better friends. T___T It's harder than it looks to get a villager to leave, it seems..

LOL'd.

It worked for me in Wild World and it worked for me in this game. Got Shari out of my town within days!

As Mayor, I make sure to bop every villager on the head once per day.

From what I've experienced, once your 10th villager moves in, certain villagers will decide they want to move. My first villager to move out was Fuschia. She and Portia were the only ones who kept running up to me repeatedly to ask. I'd tell her no, reset the game and she would run up to me again until I told her yes. Meanwhile, the villagers that I have been ignoring for weeks and hitting with nets all day long love me and being in town.

I just ignore them. They don't even need to tell you they're moving, before my game loaded Isabelle told me Hazel was moving out the next day. The only contact I had with her was when I introduced myself.

No there arnt certain villagers that will only move out and ones that wont. But I do think that when you login on your mayor, a certain villager is planned to move THAT DAY, so resetting doesn't stop them from wanting to move.

For me its totally random. Hitting them doesnt do make them want to move any faster. Also it feels like someone offers to move every 2~4 days

O: I certainly hopes someone offers to move every 2-4 days ;u; I would love to get rid of half of my villagers asap u-u
I've been ignoring rocket ever since she moved in as well as a couple of others but doesn't seem like they want to go yet :I
just hoping none of the villagers I like asks to move.

I think it's totally random. At six o'clock every morning when the game day resets, a random villager may be chosen to move. When I got my 10th villager, Annalise told me she wanted to move, but immediately changed her mind even though I said it was okay for her to go. I had been playing the game a few weeks at that point and didn't even know that villagers could move until that day.

Flurry was the second villager who wanted to move. I initially said okay to her, but changed my mind a few days before she was to start packing. She hasn't asked to leave since.

Then Deli wanted to move a couple of days later. He's one of my favorites, so that was out of the question. He hasn't asked to leave since.

Shari wanted to move. I said okay. She got pissed and told me she was staying to work on our friendship. I rest the game without saving and we played the "I want to move" sequence again, and this time she took the hint and she moved out on the 7th. She was the first villager who moved and it was two days shy of my playing the game for a month.

Phil told me he was planning on moving twice this week. He's another of my favorites, so I asked him to stay and both times he called off the move.

Another of my favorite villagers told me he was moving yesterday, Ricky. When I asked him to stay, he called off his move.

Neither Wendy nor Teddy ever asked to move--I wouldn't let them leave anyway.

I'd be more than happy to let Fuschia, Pippy, and Annalise move. Aside from Annalise mentioning it once and then immediately calling it off, none of those three seem to want to move. I really want an Octopus villager and it's unlikely I'll even get the chance until someone moves. In the three weeks or so that I've had my campsite, I've had only one camper (Pippy, who moved to my village after I won two-out-of-three in rock/paper/scissors).

Anyway, that was a rambling way to say that I think the people who say that moving is random and not based on how you treat the villagers are correct.

Talk to everyone else except the neighbor you want to move out. I'll assume that you to keep doing that for a week.
It 100% works (for me at least) back at City Folk / Let's Go To The City. Doing this method, I've managed to get a bunch of animals that I don't like to move out of my town. Best of all, I don't have to feel sorry for them after repeatedly hitting them with a net, pushing them around and to the pitfalls. :P

Right now, I'll be ignoring Freckles to get her out of my town so I can finally build my caf?.
