So I TT a lot for various reasons, but I never skip a day. I do the things I need to do each day, including talking to my favorite villagers, and if I don't have anything left to do, I save and go to the next day. However, I've heard that when a villager is planning to move, they might not tell you immediately, and that it might happen at a different time of the day.

Is this true?

I really only have one favorite villager right now (Fang), and I'd die if he suddenly left ):

How can I avoid this? For the record, he has never told me he's planning to move.

Another, unrelated question: on your birthday, are the villagers who go to your party chosen by random? Or are they the ones you talk to the most or something? Fang was the one who took me to the party, and he's the one I always talk to.

Sorry for the long post, thanks in advance! c:

I don't even think that's possible anymore. All of my villagers talk to me before making the decision to move, and even then, they take days and days to leave, and give PLENTY of notice. Isabelle will even mention it when your game boots up, so it's pretty much impossible for someone to leave without you knowing.

Obviously I don't know if that works for extreme time travel, though. Like, if you skip forward months or even years.

Phew, that's a relief :) I never skip a day, so that's good. However, when Isabelle tells you that a villager is moving, it's the day they've already packed up. I don't think it's possible to stop them by then, but I'm not sure.
