Well as there is no exact way to play Animal Crossing: New Leaf, I thought to post tips for it.

#1 ~Storage: If you are looking for a perfect town, just skip this tip as you probably wont need it. So I need a good amount of storage for flowers and junk i dont wanna sell. So if your beach is empty then just dump all your stuff there. I'm not sure if this affects perfect town status or gives you a rafflesia but i dont think it does. I wouldn't wanna assume it so if you dont wanna try it dont do it. There is also the mail method but i dont think its efficient because you could forget that you have it there. I also think its in-efficient because think about it, with the presents you couldn't tell whats in there unless you wrote what it is in the letter. Your free to do either method but thats just my opinon.

#2 ~Time Travel: Now if you already know how to do this or are against it, skip it. Time traveling is not a cheat because the creators of the game (Nintendo?) put it in there. Nintendo is not stupid guys, they most likely know that people are doing it. Now how you do it is simple. When you start up the game there are 2 options something like "Yes lets get started" and "wait somethings not right..." Something like that anyways. Pick the bottom option and you get 4 more options. ignore 3 of them and pick the one that says "Date and Time" Then you have the option to change the date or/and the time. After you choose click Ok! and then start up the game. Note: If you don't have Beautiful Town ordinance, if you time travel (or TT) too far your hair might get messy, cockroaches will appear in your house, flowers will wilt, weeds will pop up, villagers might move.

#3 ~Flowers for Free: Trust me i know what its like, resetting your town, or starting for the first time and finding that you barely have flowers. Well, heres the answer to it! Step 1: Get the island. Step 2: Go to the island and press "B" if you dont wanna hear Kapp'n sing. Go on a tour like Easy bug tour or gardening tour if you don't need medals., catch 3 bugs (For bug tour) and then fill your pockets with flowers, and yes you can take them back from tours. Don't worry about the bugs keeping pocket space, if you do bug tour, as its catch n' release. You can do this as many times as you want until the "take home bucket" is full because the flowers on tours always respawn. The reason i put this up is because yes flowers spawn at your town, but its not as fast and the ones you want don't always pop up so it could take forever.

Constructive criticism here, please don't start bashing me.

Number 3: The Gardening Tour had no mention at all. That is probably the best source of flowers, and, not just the bug tours. I think it would be great if there was a too saying that the optimal one was the Easy Gardening Tour.

Number 4: Remove it entirely. If you're not going to explain it there's no need for a mention. Yeah it's against the rules, but still I think it's obsolete.

Okay thanks.

I'm just saying but i added number 4 To let people who don't know that is the rule, that its the rule. And i didn't mention the gardening tour because when you start off i think most of the time you don't have gardening tour? And its also for people who want to get some medals and some flowers.

There is also the mail method but i dont think its efficient because you could forget that you have it there or accidently mail it off, thats not good.

Actually, you can avoid mailing it off by addressing it to your future self (because I'm pretty sure there's a separate option for that when you get to the post office), addressing it to a side character (so it's easy to get it back). A really easy way to avoid mailing stuff off is just typing a bunch of letters, as many as you need to hold your items, to someone who is moving the next day. Don't go to the post office at all until that villager moves out. The letters will remain in your inventory and you can't mail them off, ever, unless you change the recipient because that villager is no longer able to receive mail.

#1 The easiest way to store stuff without affecting perfect town ratings is by just getting side characters and using their houses or lockers as storage. If you get the museum upgrade, you can also put things up for display in there.

#2 I don't know why you're explaining how to TT?

#3 This one's kind of pointless, frankly... no offence, but I think everyone can google how to unlock the island or figure it out in time, and as far as the island goes, the best stuff about it is probably being able to get new kinds of fruit (to plant in your town), unlock the swimsuit and get expensive bugs. Flowers randomly spawn in your town anyway and none of the flowers on the island are uncommon that I know of.

#4 I agree with FireNinja1, if you're not going to explain it, then there's no point in including it.

I'm not trying to bash your work, I'm sure you put effort into it, I'm just offering some constructive criticism.

I don't think you can keep the flowers you get on the Gardening Tour, though, can you? Just as the bug tour isn't a good way to get bugs or the maze tour isn't a good way to get fruit, since Tortimer just keeps your stuff. I think the tour rule is that you get to keep everything that doesn't count towards the tour goal. At least, that's the case with me.

Okay thanks.

You do get the gardening tour from the start, I think, because it was one of the first tours I played. I don't go on tours very often because I'm lazy but I think the tours you get change slightly each day. For example, just a few weeks ago I had a shellfish diving tour but not the hide-and-seek tour, today I checked the tour list and the shellfish one was missing but there were two hide-and-seek tours. What you don't get from the start are the "official" tours, you have to play in the easy ones for a bit before getting them.

Number 4 has no mention of the rules of any kind. At least mention that duping—scratch that, just take the entire thing down. Don't make people curious. The way that TBT rules states it doesn't make an explicit mention of duping.

At the very least, make some sort of mention that the optimal tour is the Gardening one.

You can keep the leftover ones in your pockets.

Ah, thanks for letting me know... in all the other tours, Tortimer tends to take the stuff you've collected towards it (like fish in the fishing tour, fossils in the fossil tours, bug in bug-catching tours) so I thought the same was true of the gardening tour. It's good to know it isn't.

Yeah it's pretty much the only exception to that rule. Don't know why I'm very glad to have it.
