My adopted Audie is sweet and my favorite villager, but she came with a big ole fish in her house, a horrible orange tank top and sporty shades from her previous "owner", that I'd love to be rid of.
I've tried reporting to Isabelle when I see her wearing the gifted outfits, and she'll change in the moment, but it doesn't remove it permanently.
Since Audie is possibly the only villager I'll be holding onto forever, I'd love to cycle out these old gifts completely, if possible.
Does anyone have any tips, or know of a guide for how to go through this process?
Do villagers hold on to gifts forever? Or if I give her enough new things, will the older ones eventually be "voided"?
