Tips for blending themes?

The three 'main' themes I guess are the fairytale, zen, and modern themes; but I like all three and can't decide on one specifically for my town, so I've decided to try and blend all three.

Does anyone have any dream towns that successfully accomplish this I can visit for inspiration?
Should I section my town off into 3 'zones' and make each one a different theme?

I need some advice ;~;

If you're going to use all three of those themes, you need to split your town into three zones. One modern, one zen, and the other fairy. I think it's a great idea. You should also have pink/white flowers with the fairy zone, white and blue with the modern, and red and orange with the zen. Color code your zones and also have different paths. Best of luck.

Also, try choosing your own original theme and choose public works projects that fit that.

Go for something like modern path, zen bridge, fairy tale houses or other combinations to make your town unique.

I split mine into two zones: modern in the north, zen in the south. My DA is in my profile I believe if you want to see it, though it might be a bit outdated.
