Tips for animal pictures?

How long does it usually take? What are some good ways to get animal pictures? I don't want to buy them online, I want to earn them myself and I'm having a bit of trouble.

It can take 3 weeks or more I've heard. The best way is to talk to them lots every day, do any requests, getting fruit etc. or tt ti April fools day so you can get their pictures

be WAY too nice to a villager. That's how i ended up with 4 of Chevres pic.

Pretty much do everything they ask and talk to them a lot everyday xD

Just talk to them like 10 times a day, send them letters and presents, and do everything they ask.

Talk to them. A lot. Send them gifts, do everything they ask. I've only had my town for a month and I got Marshal's picture this week.

There's this trick when you think you friendship level is high; right before you complete a favor for a villager (give them their petition, fruit, furniture, whatever), you save, and if they don't give you their pic, you reset, do the favor, and so on. I don't do this (I get maybe too many pictures of my villagers to be honest, got another one from Francine earlier today), but maybe that will help you. Good luck with villagers' pics!

Give them perfect fruit if they ask for it.
To get all types trade with your friends. I have a basket of each type of fruit at the train station.
Ask for a river fish get them a rare one. Same goes for bugs.
Customize different pieces of furniture to give for villagers request. Helps towards that badge.

Some villagers will give up the picture a lot and others play hard to get.

Be as nice as you can. Do as many favors as you can. Talk to them all the time. If they ask for fruit, give them perfect fruit whenever you can. Send mail and presents. Buy anything they want to sell. Visit a lot.

It takes a while. Some personality types are easier than others.

Snooties are tough to crack!

Man, now I feel like a real cheat! I now do this - I TT back to April 1st (it only counts as one forward day no matter how many days you skip backwards) let Blanca impersonate the villagers one by one, use the online April Fool's Day Wiki and get their pics for free after picking out Blanca as the imposter.

Bingo! In a short time get every picture free and easy.

Of course then you have to wait for a villager to ping to move, refuse the move, and then you can safely skip forward to the present day.

No matter how nice I am to my villagers it takes MONTHS to even get one! I now get them right off and if (heaven forbid) someone moves and I miss it, I'll still at least have their picture to remember them by.

Well, I'm trying to fill up my museum as well as my house. And I want to set aside one, (or more), of the museum rooms for the pictures of the animals. I want to meet every villager. And I want to get all of their pictures.

Do them a lots of errands, send the letter with gifts, talk to them, be friend with them, eventually you will get one :]

Takes me a couple weeks, at most. c:
Always check your fortune -- you might be on the lucky day where errands = more friendship.
Give them customized, expensive furniture.
Never turn down a petition. Mucho friendship.
Always give perfect fruits -- the more foreign, the better.
Talk to them a lot.
I think letters with gifts help, but I never do that since I'm lazy and OCD about what's in their houses.

So far I got Chrissy's and Tom's pic by doing the same action, they both asked for a regular fruit and I brought them a perfect fruit.


But aside from that I just always talked to them everyday, and for the most part did what they asked.

Usually talk to them everyday (I think I talk to them waaay too many times LOL), give them letters, give them gifts, give them perfect fruit, return their lost items, do their favors (if they ask a favor that I can't do I turn them down instead of saying yes and then not being able to do the favor lowers friendship from what I've read) although I have turned down a lot of their petitions hehe
