Tip for faster in game typing

Howdy, all! I just learned this recently from a friend and I find it so helpful I thought I would share. If you download the Nintendo online app and link it to your account you can type in-game messages using your phone! I find it so much faster and easier especially for online trading. (we all know how terrible it is to try and type out a long message on the console). Hope this helps everyone!

Also the app has a voice chat feature. If more people use that we could have actual conversations instead of sending sentence fragments.

It is awkward at first, but so much better than typing on your phone.

While that may work very well for native English speakers, I think most people who aren't native speakers don't feel comfortable/aren't fluent enough to use voice chat in-game.

Although most of us can write, read and listen, actually speaking English may not be that common for non native speakers. Also, many people, regardless of their proficiency with the language, are just too shy to use voice chat (even in their own native language).

But it's still something very useful for those who are comfortable enough with it.

I used to play Battlefield 3 with people from different countries (most were from the US, Germany, France Italy and Poland) and we always had team chat on - it was a rule of the server we played in - but it everyone just used basic tactical lingo so that made things easier for everyone. If wasn't for that, it would be a mess hahah

The vast majority of people don't enjoy using VC, especially with random people for 2 minutes.

More tips: you can type on the touch screen if you're playing handheld, also, if you don't use the touch screen: when you go off the left side of the keyboard you will end up on the right, which can be faster than going waaay across
