Time Travelling?

I used to time travel in the beginning.
mostly because I was too impatient to wait
after a while i stopped
i'm like 5 days ahead but i wanna be on today's date so yeah i'm gonna slowly timetravel back without messing up my game. (like i dont play for a day, i change the clock back to yesterday in the game. idk if that helps anything but i hope it does haha)

I time travel. I'm restricted to the times of day in real time that I can play. Therefore I like to move the clock around to fit the times I want to actually play.

I also sometimes time travel to achieve a particular objective.

I couldn't give a fig leaf if people judge me for that.

Same!

I have my main game that I play in strict real time (the digital download version), and a second town (retail cart) that I use for experimentation and I've been TT'ing to get different villagers. I intented on playing both towns without TT'ing, but I don't have the time or the energy to maintain two towns. I'm currently trying to get Static from my experimental town to move to my main town.

I am the same way with my main town (cartridge version) running in real time but I had an issue the other day. When I time traveled on my digital copy of the game and then played on my main town, my turnips had all spoiled. I don't know the reason behind it... does even the in-game time change with Isabelle version temporarily switch your ds clock? Does anyone know maybe why my other game was affected?

Yes, the game follows your DS clock more or less. I didn't think that it would affect anything if you didn't enter the game during the TT. Perhaps it registers that something about the time changed and took vengeance on your turnips. This is good to know...

On topic: I don't currently TT, but I'm not above doing so if I had a reason. Such as fast-forwarding to weeding day (and the day before to remove weeds), so I can get the topiaries.

I'm not too concerned about time traveling. If I want to, then I'll do it. I've TT'd three times and mostly to get certain objectives: QRs on mayor ( a slew of other upgrades ensued, however ), cafe, and QRs on two other characters so I could get down to putting paths in my town ( I ripped them all up later because I didn't like them ). I might TT to kick out some villagers I'm not too fond of, however; I'll probably go back and forth across 1 or 2 days. I generally always travel back to the correct date, though. I'm a stickler for accurate time, for whatever reason.

Doesn't matter if you TT--it's your game, anyways. People who judge other people for TT'ing grate on my nerves.

I time traveled cuz I am way too addicted to this game. I mostly only do it for moving people out, though. Ultimately, once I have enough villagers I'm content with, I'll start becoming friends with them and building more PWP's around their houses.

So if you TT on your download version does your actual 3DS clock change as well?? Cause I was thinking about buying the download version also, but I won't TT on that one if it changes my internal clock... I don't want my 3DS clock to be all wacky.

No, that shouldn't affect your 3ds clock. Looks like that's the way to go if you have multiple games and want to TT.

I love to play in proper time to embrace the proper feeling of Animal Crossing.

But I may have to consider time traveling to record the rain music... But I don't want to do it!

Reading around... another reason my turnips spoiled could be because I moved my main game (the cartridge) to another DS so that I could trade items with my digital game. Having moved the game to the another DS with a different clock setting (off by seconds/minutes) could've been how the time switch messed up my turnips.

I only TT on occasion, like if I'm trying to get a certain villager to move.

Otherwise, I play the game normally. Waiting for shops and other things to be upgraded/opened the next day really is more rewarding for me.

Ohh... Yeah, that sounds like something that could cause a time paradox.

i tried tt-ing once but got really bored/tired of playing. So now all i do is adjust the time before 7pm so that i can avoid tarantula. Yes it keeps appearing in my town every 1-2 days and i had enough of it scaring me -_- There was once it bite me when i just.. started the game and came out of my house bleh
