I usually play about three to five hours in a day, maybe more, and then I'll just skip to the next one.
It's something I've been doing since Population Growing, but a lot of people
seem to treat it like a forbidden ritual or something.
Is it such a bad thing?
Do you TT at all?
Do you TT only for holidays and special events?
Do you skip hours, days, weeks, etc.?
I TTed for the first time the other day, only to get a villager to move out. I only do it to get someone to move in/out so I do the 2/2 trick, but I don't judge others who do TT.
We have a group for tters in group section, the ttc. Click comunity and the groups button in the drop down menu. There only a few groups so it shouldn't be too hard to find.
I have my main game that I play in strict real time (the digital download version), and a second town (retail cart) that I use for experimentation and I've been TT'ing to get different villagers. I intented on playing both towns without TT'ing, but I don't have the time or the energy to maintain two towns. I'm currently trying to get Static from my experimental town to move to my main town.
I time travel. I'm restricted to the times of day in real time that I can play. Therefore I like to move the clock around to fit the times I want to actually play.
I also sometimes time travel to achieve a particular objective.
I couldn't give a fig leaf if people judge me for that.
If one is digital and one is physical, it should be fine. You can't even download 2 digitals either.
If they are both physical, they're saved to the cartridge, so you basically need one 3DS.
I time traveled once in my game just to make sure my bushes were growing but other than that I don't time travel. I don't mind it others do it. It's their game and they should be able to play however they want. During Halloween I usually have to time travel back a couple hours so I can do the Halloween event after all the neighborhood kids get their candy irl. Personally I don't time travel unless I really feel like it will benefit me.
I never time travel, but have no issue with anyone who does, we all paid the same amount of money for the game, so let people play how they want to
I personally don't as i like the anticipation of waiting for the next day for something to open, and it ruined my WW, with my fave villagers moving out etc, and i dont want to risk that, even if the risk is very minimal, and likely not to occur.
I time travel sometimes. Like, only a few hours or a day. It is usually so that a shop will open or so I can redo the money rock (Hate all you want ) But yeah, sometimes people have restricted hours to play and time travelling is the only way. I don't understand why people dislike it so much :L
I only adjust my clock by 2 or 3 hours. There are days I can only play early in the day, so I want the shops open, other days I can only play late in the evening, so I want the shops open then. The Early Bird town or the Late Night Owl town won't work for me since I would have to be paying the 20,000 bells every few days to change it, so I keep my Beautiful town. I don't mind if others TT (days, weeks, months in advance), I just don't see the fun in it.
I TT alot, I mean I started TTing since wild world. But i'm restarting my NL town soon and I think I'm going to try and stick to regular time, I've been able to for about 3 days now so thats an improvment.
I TT to unlock things, Museum shop, cafe, club lol, nooklings upgrade and kicks. I often TT, but recently I tried to stop. I can't stop, I love tting, as long as i don't get villagers that move out. Be a proud TTer.
There are two groups: a TTing one(mine) and a non TTing one(my friend Card's). You guys should probably sort yourselves into the groups so we can all be happy.
I don't time travel. If I want a faster paced gaming experience then I'll play Harvest Moon.
For me Animal Crossing is all about taking the time to work towards something and the anticipation that comes with that. I wonder if the people who have waited for their cafes, police stations and camp sites have got a whole lot more enjoyment out of the experience than the people who rushed through? As people have mentioned though, it's all about individual preference - it's your game, play it out as you like!
