When i started the game initially i was totally against it...but recently i have been doing the two day forward and tow days backward trick to get my dreamies in the town...and kinda succeeded in it....) and now that i have 9 out of 10 dreamies laready i dont want to do it anymore though i am too tempted to get the last unwanted villager out of my town but im scared that i might end up loosing one of my fav ...so not doing it now...!!
Main town only to change the clock if I'm late playing for an event or to get all the items I ordered the night before.
I usually fix the clock the next day.
My guest town I'll keep it on the same day for two days in a row if I have a good premium or high turnip price.
My perfect fruit towns I TT in that town a lot. When I want to harvest the perfect fruit I set the clock for 4am. It goes faster with no villagers outside. The town goes March to May and than repeats.
I have played every single Animal Crossing installation and this is the first game that I've not TT'd for a long period of time. (This is going to sound like an Intervention episode, but bear with me.)
I stopped TTing about six months ago and I really loved it. I felt that my experience was better because I wasn't getting immediate gratification for everything. Now, to clarify, I already had a lot of town renovations and shops built by that time, so I had been TTing for awhile before I had done this, and that kind of upsets me. I plan to not TT at all in the next Animal Crossing installment to see how I react to it, even though I know it'll be hard. ;^;
this is my first town so it's a learning experience but so far i've tt'd out two of my dreamies by accident. lobo last week.. and literally 10 minutes ago i tt'd fuchsia out by accident..live and let learn. but i don't regret it completely. time traveling is a good tool and it's helped my town grow a whole lot. for as young as my town is, it's development is well on it's way- i think.
Yes, all the time. I need it for unlocking PWPs, ordering furniture, speeding a move-in/out process, getting seeds/bushes, etc. One time I tried helping someone by attempting to time travel a villager out, but instead resulted in one of my favorite villagers leaving.
