Time traveling to get villager photos?

I own a second ACNL cartridge that I mostly use for time traveling to breed flowers. I don't really care for cycling out villagers and stuff, but I love having and keeping dreamies if they happen to move in & possibly save them to move into my main on my other cartridge. But if I can't keep them, I at least want their picture.

My question is, can I TT a day at a time and complete my favorite villager's tasks for the day, and expect a photo from them eventually (mostly hoping for when/if they move out, they send me their pic in the mail). Or does doing this not work for some reason, like does TTing lower friendships or something? I'd really like to do this because not only am I breeding my pink flowers, I'd love to get photos in the process c:

While you TT just stop on april 1st and you can all the photos from april fools~

I don't think you'll lower the friendship if you talk to em at least once a day

Oh I didn't know you can do that (I've taken a hiatus for a while and I haven't read up on all the holidays). Haha i'll definitely look forward to doing that then ^_^
