Hi! I just learned about the villager reset trick (where you make a new character then see where the villager you expected to move in puts down their plot). I'm trying to catch up from January to now but am getting sick of it fast lol, if I time travel to today while I make a new character, can I see if any of my dreamies move out like in the trick? Will I have to adjust the 3ds time or can I do it with the new player? If any moved out can I reset, and time travel back and keep doing it or will they be gone because I loaded the game??

Are you asking how to jump a large gap of time without losing anyone? If so then yes. Set you consoles date (not the game one) to the date that you’d like. Start a new character and check to see if anybody has moved out or in. If everything is hoe you left it, complete the new character tutorial thing, plot you house and save and quit. You can the. Delete the new character and load the game up with your regular character with worrying about anyone moving away.

If somebody did move away, make a note of who it is, turn the game off -DONT SAVE!- and change the date on your console to the last time you played the game, you can find this in the log app thing. Load up the game with a usual character and start asking around to find the mover. There’s guides online about finding a moving animal. TT a day at a time until you find the mover, tell them no, save the game and repeat the first steps.

Thank you!!! I was worried my op was a little unclear but I'm glad you understood :)
