time traveling backwards?

Has anyone done a lot of backwards time traveling?
I have mainly gone forward and back just a few days at a time.

But was wondering if anything detrimental would happen if I went back to say, January?

Would my villagers move? I've looked around online a little and haven't seen anything other than that your town will be overcome with weeds. But that doesn't bother me a bit (and I have the beautiful ordinance in effect)

Any help would be super appreciated

Im pretty sure traveling backwards doesnt have any negative effects. If a moving villager is packed uo, the will be gone when you time travel, but thats about it.

I dont have any villagers that are packed, which is what I was worried about. Just didnt want anyone leaving while I was going backwards.

Actually, villagers CAN leave while going backwards!
