Time Traveling Backwards

I have a question on TTing backwards. I'm currently a month ahead of today's actual date and I want to go back to the current date soon. I've googled it, but there were mixed answers.
What would happen if you TT backwards? If I suddenly TTed backwards by one month in one go, would that actually count as a month in in-Game days or just one day?

Yes, I TT'd back 15 days and then forward and Isabelle told me that my villagers missed me and Goldie was already in boxes, so it counts.
