time traveling and intentionally getting villagers to move out?

Drago asked to move today!!
so i said take care, and he said, ok but you should remember a town without me is hungry and sad, he didn't say he was staying, but does this mean he is?

Sometimes they will say their moving but then change their mind if you agree. Happened to me with Tabby twice.
I guess the only way to find out if hes really moving or not is to talk to your other villagers. They'll say something like "I heard Drago is moving, you need to go stop him!"

Cherry informed me he was moving, and then he ran up to me and told me, and i told him to take care, then he said that, so im not sure if hes changed his mind

Oh wow, well I suppose what I said still applies. I'd try talking to someone other than Cherry and see if they mention him moving. Someone will occasionally mention it until hes actually packed up to leave

I reset the game to see what other dialogue he could have, and he said he wants to stay to become better friends, so i now know the first option was the one which meant he was leaving so ill reset again until he says that

He's one of the two who must leave Alfonso is one of my dream villagers, and is staying, no room for two lazy alligators! hes leaving now anyway hopefully i get a good new one from the campsite or on here!
