I have two copies of the game and I use one of them for time traveling. I have my second copy at somewhere in October and I plan on trading a villager with someone, if they visit my town that is two months ahead of their's, will it negatively affect them in any way? (Bed head, changing their game time, etc..) Sorry if this question seems stupid I just don't know much about time traveling because I've always been afraid of it. Thanks in advance!

No it won’t. I visit towns with different time zones all the time, and it hasn’t affected either town.

Don't worry, time travel is completely harmless. It's definitely not a stupid question. Always a good idea to check if you suspect something might harm someone's game.

Time Traveling won't effect the game for a visitor as the date and time is host-sided, for example, cycling towns use TTing to get villagers out quicker for people who want that villager. I just got Erik from a cycling town, and in their game he was moved out a couple seconds after I got him, but in my game, he wasn't here yet because the game recognizes that a day hasn't passed for me yet, but the following day I got him because a day has passed. Time is dependent on the host's game, it will never effect a visitor. It's not a stupid question at all, it's always good to check if you're worried about something!

Honestly I'm glad you asked because I've wondered this.
