Time Travel?

I haven't really tries TT except by maybe a couple hours, but want to experiment with it. I just want to be careful as I do. If I TT forward until I get a camper that I like then ask them to move in, they agree, then I TT back, will the camper be in my village? What about if they agree, I TT to when they move into a house then TT back to today's date, will they be there? Other than those specific questions, I guess I really just want to know how TT affects the game? Thanks in advance!!

if you time travel, go by 1 day. and each day talk to ALL your villagers you're able to. because if you tt too much without talking to them you WILL miss their ping to move away and they might just be gone or in boxes one day when you log in. time travel is fun and easy but you gotta play it safe!

also, if you time travel say... 3 days ahead, theres a camper and you ask them to move in and they do (i think it takes them 2 days until you see their plot, and they move in on the third day.) and then you go back in time ANY amount of days, it equals one day forward.

so say it's oct 30th in my town.
and i time travel to january 1st of the same year, it's like time traveling one day.

as long as the villager is plotted / in your town, if you time travel backwards they will still be there.

if a camper asks to move in today, they should be permanently plotted in your town on nov 2nd.
now after they move in, if you want to time travel back to oct 30th, you can do so, it should only count as one day traveled.
sounds weird, but it should work. just be careful going forward days until you spot a camper, because if you go too far forward without talking to your villagers you might lose someone currently in your town.


i believe theres a camper reset trick too if you're up to learning how to do that.

you will,

just time travel 1 day forward at a time, talk to your villagers often, and once you get someone in your camp site you want, play with them until they offer to move in. once they move in, go ahead and time travel back to whatever day you wanted to go back to.
