Ruins the spirit of the game, but to each his own. Having lost my 80-90 hour save data (thanks for the encryption Nintendo) I'll probably TT until I have my house upgraded again, first time though advancing little by little was part of the game's charm.

I'm stuck. I have a new town (due to game card slot issues) and don't know if I should TT. Yes I know it's "my game", but I'm stuck. [POLL COMING SOON]

I highly recommend that you TT ONE DAY AT A TIME! That way you won't get over run by weeds and your villigers wont move away. remember to talk to your favourite villigers everyday to make sure they 100% will NOT move.

In my main town I've only TT to one day for real time holidays. Play with the villagers and than enjoy the holiday with my family the next day.
In my guest town I'll TT back and forth to get a lot of items for cataloging. The villagers called me a time traveler after going back and forth 7 times.

In my harvest towns I TT all the time. The town is set March to May and than repeats. I'll TT to 4am so the villagers don't bug me.

I just started another new town and so far I haven't TT. I'm waiting for Club LOL petition and for it to be built before I jump ahead or back. Not in a hurry for the stores but will have to change the clock to late night bug hunting.

I don't have anything against time travelers so it's really up to you, but I prefer not to time travel at all so the full experience is enjoyed. ; o ; You can still enjoy it either way though.

How to always play in Cherry Blossom Week?

I TT to stay in Cherry Blossom Week and also to speed up how fast my hybrids breed because I'm covering my whole town in them and need a ton.

Could you tell me exactly how you do this? I have 9 adorable villagers and want to keep my game in Cherry Blossom Week forever. So far I have jumped ahead one year, done that twice. But I'm afraid I'll run out of years! So I'd love to know if you TT back to the 3rd at the end of April 10th, or if you keep playing the same day repeatedly, etc. I want to pay off my house loan, too, and it sounds like everything will be fine as long as I save everything. Don't want to go backward and discover the trees I planted are not there - that sort of thing. Elsewhere I have heard that TT forward is okay, but never backwards. So I'm dying to know how you do it.
Thanks in advance!

I believe TTing too much can ruin the game but I think its fine to TT every once in a while to move out a villager or get a shop or any of that stuff

I TT purely to speed certain things up, like buildings getting constructed and villagers moving in or out.
