Hi I need a bit of advice. I previously planted some bushes in my town and wanted them in a particular order. I took a break from NL a couple of months back and only returned recently. I've completely forgotten which type of bush I've planted where and which colour (i.e. white azaela) is which. I want to TT to the times these bushes are in bloom so I can see what's what and finish planting, but what's the best way to do it without losing any villagers? I've got Beautiful Town Ordinance in place so that should take care of my flowers
play until you get a villager who pings to move, say no. save and quit and then change the date to whatever time to see the bloom; no one should leave (only do it once though), and i'm not sure about going back to your original time. maybe do the same thing and TT forward back to normal? (i'd wait to see what others say too).
>get a villager to ping about moving doing day by day time travel
>say no
now you can time travel as far forward as you want to without anyone moving for one period
just rinse and repeat this process every time you want to travel more than 5 days ahead
time travel backwards shouldn't be as effective though, due to it only counting is one day forward, but if you want to be safe just do the above again before time traveling backwards
Or you could just set your DS clock to the seasons you need to check and pop in with a new villager and just don't save. Nothing should happen and then you can just tt to the current date and everything will be fine.
just remember after the ping it will only be safe for the first time travel
so if you want to go further ahead you'll have to wait or day-by-day time travel again for another moving ping before you can make another huge time travel jump without anyone moving
