Are ya seriously gonna reset though? I'd hate to reset my town over one villager. That is, if your town is even old enough to have a lot of work put into it.

We're still not sure if the update breaks the 16-villager cycle. If yes, you could just get a Punchy card and stuff necessary for the Amiibo updates.

Personally I would reset, if I wanted to change my town map too.
BUT, if you like it, don't just give up hope yet!
Just follow the Villager trading plaza for a while. I hope you will get him back from there in no time!

I'm pretty sure you can't have him move in from another town until another 16 villagers move in and out of your village, which would take FOREVER.

Personally, I'd do the same, without hesitation, if Lolly moved out.
