As I know ACHHD is coming out this month, I have a question about ACHHD.

Are there are multiple times of the day or year in this game, or is it always daytime in the summer no matter what?

Hiya: the game doesn't operate on a 24-hour game day like the regular AC games and the season in your main street doesn't appear to change, BUT: you can choose the season for each villager's house, so you have control over the seasons, in a way. Your work designing houses takes place during the day, but after you've finished designing a house that day, you can visit your villagers or walk around your town's main street and it will be night time. Hope that helps!

You can also visit villagers once you start a new day, before working, you will not waste the day just by visiting them, and you can also take a walk on main street in the day.

I see now. So are you trying to say that it can be both spring and fall at once in town (when decorating houses) while there are some day and night in game?

And what's the default season of the game?

There isn't actually a full town to walk around in like there is in New Leaf. There's only the main street, and every villager's house is in its own separate instance, so you couldn't step out of Peanut's house and walk next door to Pekoe's house, for example. Each villager's home loads up as a separate location. In each of those instances, you can set the season, so if you want to put Pekoe's home on the beach in summer and Peanut's home next to a waterfall in winter, you can.

The default season on the main street appears to be summer.

The day and night instances depend on whether you're walking around before you start your work for the day (your "work" is designing a villager's home), like MKInfinite mentions, or whether you've completed your work. If you walk around main street or visit villagers before you design a home that day, it will be daytime. If you walk around or visit a villager after designing a home, it will be night.
