Time just changed HELP O_O

I just started my animal crossing game again, and I didn't pay attention to the date, and Issable told me it has been a long time since she saw me. but I played an hour ago.
when I started my game all my flowers where gone and its april in the year 2017?!!!??
It has happend before that the date jumped back to weird things like 2001, but I saw it before I started the game.

is there anyway to get back my flowers?? I guess not since Issabele saves the game before you start and thats when I saw it.


I'm really sad about this. has anyone else have some weird time troubles like this before?

Are you time travelling? And very sorry for what happen to you >< also once you log in your character actually it already saved from the loading so...there's no turning back

I once accidentally time travelled 1 year back. And I only noticed the mistake a couple of weeks later... way to go, perception skills

2017 sounds extreme, though O__O There's no way to reverse the changes now, unfortunately, though I do hope that kind of thing doesn't happen again!

It can only happen if your time travel or played with the Nintendo internal clock.

There's no way the date can jump back/forward without you time traveling. Maybe somebody got a hold of your DS?

Sounds like a glitchy 3DS, maybe there's a problem with the internal battery.

now that you all mention it, I did see my nintendo clock was way off. and I just set that time right, it was on 2010, and putting it to 2014 is a change of 3-4 years, and 2017 is also 3-4 years....

but it has happend once before, without me doing anything.

I don't time travel on purpose, Becouse I think its not how you should play the game (might have tt for 1 hour, becouse i had to work all day, so I didnt have time to check the turnip price) but that's all.

still weird that my nintendo clock seems to reset to random dates...

I think it would be the 3DS. Is it older? Maybe you've dropped it (not sure if that would affect the clock) too many times?

My boyfriend and I time travel a lot and we have never had anything like that happen. His 3DS is brand new and mine is a little over a year.

On occassion my 3ds changes back to 1/1/2011, but I catch it in AC because of the party hats. It sucks that this is happening, so I'd just take a look at the internal clock in the upper right hand corner of your screen before starting a game.

I know what happened.

Your 3DS Time and Date is out of Sync with Animal Crossing New Leafs. So when you set the 3DS date forward, the ACNL Time and date also moved forward by however many years.

If your 3DS clock was 2010 and you go forward 3 years and your ACNL was 2014, that would move it to 2017.
