TIL villagers can spot you when you hide in a villagers doorway

So I've been doing the PWP trick for the last few days to get the Uchi PWPs before I kick out Canberra and Diva, and I currently only have one bridge in my town because I DONT KNOW and ALL of my villagers crowd that bridge, so I have to sneak around them to see if Canberaa or Diva will ping me first, I usually hide in Julian's door way while villagers pass so they don't spot me. Diana walked behind Julian and Sparros house and turned just a bit to where she could see me and be like OMG HEY MAYOR. I thought it was rather interesting considering she was pretty much behind their houses and I was standing in Julians doorway.
