Tier 1 and 2 villagers you just don't like

I saw a lovely thread about what tier villagers you really like, and it got me thinking that there's a few villagers in the first two tiers of which I do not understand why people like them that much!

For example: I dont get why people love Ankha that much - I don't REALLY like her design and I don't like her house interior as well, I've actually had her in a town once! Also, I don't think Flurry is THAT cute.
Now, that's the two out of the first tier I don't really get, but in tier two THERE ARE SO MANY! I mean, how does ANYONE like Pietro? I just think he looks like a clown and I reaaally think clowns are quite creepy!
There's actually quite some more, but this post would get way to long if I told you guys every one, lol.

So, do you have these feelings as well with some very popular villagers? Or do you disagree with me completely? Tell me!

Stitches and Pietro are super creepy, plus their houses are an eyesore. Marshal, Beau, Fauna, Maple ect. are too casual for me, I don't get why they are popular.

I see a lot of you think some of the tier 1 and 2 are too plain/casual. That's actually a think I kinda like about them! They're not really crazy-looking like some of the other characters (pietro, I'm looking at you!)

I don't really get why Lolly is so crazy popular. She's cute and all but there's so many normals who are just adorable. To me she's just too plain (and I actually prefer the plainer villagers normally). When I had her in my town I thought I'd give her a chance but I didn't change my mind. And it took me ages to cycle her out Tia is another one I don't really get. I understand that she's quite unique but I find her appearance odd more than endearing. Being a teapot and all

Another thing that bugs me about T1 and T2s in general is that they're so common. Towns that aren't filled with them are quite a sight to see.

Julian..I never really got his appeal tbh, except for the fact that he's a unicorn (which is pretty cool). Only recently I decided to switch my villagers out for ones I've never wanted just to shake things up a bit. I adopted him a day ago and we still haven't clicked, which is really unusual for me. Once he settled in, the excitement immediately died off. I have almost no interest in him, even after hours and hours of play. I mean, from the side he's cute, but that front view of his big face just kills it for me. Maybe I just need to give him a bit more time, lol.

But if I think about it, horses just aren't my favorite type of villager.

Most of the tier 1 villagers are boring a.f or just off-putting to me. Fauna is beyond bland to me, but so are most of the other deer, so eh... Stitches is kinda creepy, Julian is too much, Beau is just...Beau. I think it's weird that Merengue is food. Creative design, but just not for me. Hate Rosie's eyes. Don't even get me started on Pietro's creepy ass... And I recently discovered that Whitney just isn't as great as I thought she was. Loved her in previous games in the franchise, but now she's missing something that gave her charm. Probably because they toned down the snooty & cranky personality WAY too much in this game. Now it's like she's not even the same wolf. She's just a pretty fake in New Leaf :|

As for tier 2s, there's only a couple I don't really care for. I like most of them.

Marshall, I find him really boring and can't understand how such an unimaginative villager became so popular. I get that people find him cute , but all the squirrels are cute and in comparison to them there is nothing I can see that should make him stand out so much.
There's a few others whose rank surprises me but no others that I particularly dislike.

In the many towns that I had before (I got addicted to deleting my towns for a while haha), I got a to see a good selection of villagers, so looking at the tier one list I got almost everyone at least once (except Marina)... But I only would like to have Fauna again, lol. She?s a real cutie. The rest... I just can?t seem to warm up to them enough. I don?t know. (Maybe I?d like Marina too, I only had her in ACWW though. But I liked her then.)

I had two tier one villagers as my starters in my new town (Rosie and Beau) and even though they aren?t bad I rarely talk to them. I just can?t seem to like them enough... Also, Marshal moved in as my first smug and it?s the same with him. I just don?t like them. And I can?t pinpoint why, hahaha.

For tier two... I like Maple, Wolfgang and Ruby best because they were in my very first/second AC town (in ACWW) and yeah..
they?re three of my favourites. Actually all of my favourites were in my first or second town in ACWW because I spend my whole childhood on those. Nostalgia...
For new ones I like Sprinkle and Molly. And maybe Pekoe. The rest is meh again.

I think a lot of the tier 1/2 villagers are popular because they have a plainer color scheme that's easier to fit into a town aesthetic? Or something along those lines.

With that said I just cant join the hype over Marshal and Whitney q_Q they just aren't cute to me I guess

I'm not a fan of Lolly and Rosie at all. They're way too overrated.
