Thoughts on YouTube's new look?

I think it's the messiest piece of *censored.2.0* I've seen in such a long time. The comment organization feels bland to me, (come on, you have to highlight a comment to report it?).

It's disorganized and there is a lot of empty space on the right. God damn, youtube.

It never even mattered, people always either chose 5 or 1 stars. A thumbs up and down system won't change much anyway.

I like how it looks much more slick now, before it looked kinda cheap. I also like how they've arranged the top of the page now, it takes up much less room. The bottom of the page is another matter though. The video responses take up sooo much room with each response having a line of it's own, it was much better before. The comments are also really rather fugly.

Removing the 5 stars is fine in my opinion, everyone always chose either 5 or 1 stars so it's not like it makes any difference. Besides, you can now see how many people actually voted thumbs up/down, rather than the old system which just told you the overall ratings.

I like how when you view a video from your subscriptions you get a subscription box to the right of the video so you don't constantly have to go back to the front page to get to your next subscription.

Overall, I think It's pretty nice, I just wish they would sort out the comment system.

Maybe now that this is finished they can finally get to work with sorting out their other bugs.

@Anyone who hates everything about this new layout: WHY!? It's better in a lot of ways. I guess everyone's natural hate for change is kicking in XD

EDIT: Just noticed that partner banners are gone, ew. WTB them back.

EDIT 2: Oo, the highest rated comments get pinned at the top of all comments, that's awesome.
