Thoughts on Knox..

I don't really like the knights villagers but if you plan to do a medieval theme island him and Sterling are must have I think !
His english name is a reference to Fort Knox but his original name is a reference to the Golden Pavillon in Japan (a famous temple).

A cranky chicken villager. As mentioned above, he has a jock eagle counterpart named Sterling. While I love Sterling I’m not so keen on Knox.

If you have a medieval/fantasy themed island he'd be awesome but I'm not really into him unless he's on one of those ultra themed islands. I find the villagers like Knox and the superheros super hard to gift things too because they look out of place with their themed house or other clothing.

He fits within the theme of my island, but isn't ranked very high in my top 10. I'll eventually get him but not anytime soon.

He has a pretty cool design, and if you’re going for a medieval theme he’s a MUST have! 😊

A very cute medieval chicken who will hit you with his shovel (it says that on his wiki page, I’m not making that up I swear!). His name means gold and might be a play on Fort Knox, but no one really knows that for sure. He really wants to be a firefighter, but I’m not sure how he will get that job dressed as a medieval knight.

I had Knox for a while and while he wasn’t my favorite, he was enjoyable to have around. Of course, I have a major cranky crush and would have nothing but crankies if it weren’t for the differing DIYs you get from different personalities. One thing that was a little off putting about him is the fact that his home is filled with gold coffins. I just could never get past that and ultimately let him move.

I didnt know those were coffins i thought they were just tables cause they had stuff on them when i looked at his house i thought it looked like a church and his clothes looked like the pope and there's a lot of conspiracy theories going on right now...

Yes he has caskets in his house, he's more or less a church/temple guard. Where as Sterling's house gives off the impression he is a dungeon guard.

I have both and I love them. They look great in the gold armor and iron armor respectively and my headcanon are that those caskets contain the rest of his utlities. Like one have a straw bed to sleep in, the other a simple stove top and sink, storage etc. Hence why the candles always move.

The thing is though, all villagers, every single are who you make them to be and how you want them to be. The only time villagers had unique characterizations from the original game character card bios.

The rest is just understanding their design concepts and how you can deduce their character from those.

If you think Knox is cool, you want him and etc. You're really the only one to decide that and interact with them as you want to.

Knox and Sterling are pretty cool in my opinion, especially for the fact that they are both knights. I just love in general the villagers with a more unique design. Besides, both have a nice house.

Sterling is *chef kiss* perfecto and by extension, I also love Knox for the same reasons. I just think they're cool and wouldn't mind more knight/medieval-like characters.

Sterling's interior may not vibe with some people but Knox's interior is gold (almost literally).

I was actually playing around with the idea of a fairy tale second island the other day, and if I did it, I'd definitely have him on it 😊 Wouldn't pick him for an unthemed island, though, but that's just me!

I loved Knox in NL - he had a very castle vibe to his house. His new house is a bit weird, kinda funereal. But I like his little knight helmet. I don't mind that he and Sterling are randomly medieval even if my town isn't castle-themed. He's probably my favorite of the chickens.

I think that knox is cool, but he'd be a temporary villager and not a dreamie of mine.
He and Sterling are the 2 knight villagers.

I am personally not a fan of his theme, but i find the chicken model cute in general.

had to google him,
i've seen this villager before in a island tour on youtube of a medieval island, he worked perfectly for it!
personally i wouldn't get him for my island and i'm not a big fan but i like his design, he's a chicken knight!
if you're going for a medieval type of island or anything where soldiers would fit in then he'd be perfect for it

I have a medieval theme and I have zero interest in him or Sterling. They do have interesting designs though. I just don’t like chicken or rooster villagers.
