Hi all,

So yesterday I found my first game card for ACNL which I lost ages ago, the WA update has been installed and I'm exploring my town. Most of it is pretty good, except the cafe is in a weird place and my native fruit is the same as my current main town...

Mayor Naurak's house is fully paid up and expanded, and since I don't have a lot of free time, I don't really want to go through those super boring early weeks of ACNL when the town is new. But ugh! That cafe. Also the fact that the town fruit is the same kinda sucks because it means I can't sell between my two towns because of the lower price.

I know I should keep my town and just basically work with what's already there, but really, those resetting temptations are seriously strong...

I know the feeling but I think I found a solution that works for me, might work for you too. It's kind of like taking a break from the game but not a long break where you disappear from your town for weeks or months.

Whenever I feel the urge to restart, which I'm pretty sure will happen again because It's me, I'll just put the game away for a few hours or for the rest of the day, regardless of whether or not I got anything done.

The cafe's location is permanent so if you don't like the location, you're better off restarting. If you're far enough in your town, which it sounds like you are, you can sell your town and get a nice sum of bells to start over with.

Someone said this in another resetting thread and it always stuck with me;

Once you think about resetting, it's already too late. :p

But seriously, if the resetting temptations are that strong, I say go for it. Fully expanding your house is something you can do in the background and work at slowly, there's no rush with that.

It's completely up to you, but I personally would reset if I was in that situation.
Good luck :)
