How do you get houses in your showcase?

Out of all the months I have played this game and I have like 50 different towns I have only ever had 1 house in there... And it wasn't mine.. Idk why though.. I have played over WiFi before and tons of people have visited me in the past...
But there houses have never showed up?

Is it just a random chance? Or do you have to play with that person more than once? I have unlocked the showcase and done all you need to do... and streetpass is currently running...

Just wondering... And I feel kinda stupid for asking this but oh well..

Showcase as in where Digby is? You get houses there from streetpass so you have to streetpass someone who plays acnl :O

Hmm, maybe they don't play animal crossing then? :| cause we've streetpassed people but out of all of them only one showed up in the showcase meaning that person was the only one who plays animal crossing.

Although thats the only thing I could think of why none show up. Not a lot to streetpass in my area. So yea, maybe thats one of the reasons! ;P

you only get people who play animal crossing and have enabled streetpass for the game. digby even explains it to you and everything; it has nothing to do with YOUR towns. it's in the manual as well.

I have noticed that mine has a lag on it sometimes, where the house doesn't show up til the next day even though I streetpassed that day. Doesn't happen all the time, just occasionally. My showcase is almost full now! It's fun, just wish you could order more than 5 items.
