I was watching video about cursed dolls, and what do you know, there was one doll, called Annabelle.

And here is our lovely villager.

Do you see it? The nose and face are really close.
But also, In some cases, depending on how you answer your questions, you can even get the same eyes, with the same eyelashes

This creeps me out!!

There i was thinking this was another thread relating to dolls in the items box

I've been terrified of Raggedy Ann dolls way before I ever heard of Annabelle, although she does not help that dilemma. I also live about really close to the museum where the cursed doll Robert is on display.

Then, of course, there's my old favorite the Island of the Dolls. Nothing living or dead will ever make me set foot on this freaking island, but I would worship the director that decided to make a (good) horror movie about the place.

Thanks for sharing! Very interesting...
I'd never step foot on that island because I'm very supersitious and wouldn't want to get cursed or something. s:

Well, I practice witchcraft and I have no fear of being cursed or anything, but I 100% believe that place is haunted. I don't like being around places that house that type energy or any negative energy, really, but my main worry would be that something would attach itself to me and follow me home. That's my fear with any place that could be haunted, though. Plus, my fear of dolls is really, really bad. Like I've never even gone to Aika cause of it and I never freaking will. Every time I even watch videos about it, I have really bad nightmares about that doll, so there's just no way I'd stress myself out by doing something like that.

this images are pretty bleh compared to what I have seen of the place on other sites tbh

Yeah, I know. But I've seen so many messed up pics of this place, I just chose the first site that popped up. If you guys haven't seen it yet, you should watch the Ghost Adventures episode about it. It was really good. I know Destination Truth and, I think, Ghost Hunters: International also have episodes about visiting the Island. They're all really creepy to watch, IMO, especially the Ghost Adventures one.

The Isla de las Munecas is actually a really saddening story. I think it's a shame how people have sort of glorified the poor girl's death by adding a dark element to it...

Weren't the first few dolls left as a tribute to her and then people started to leave more and more, and then began hanging them to trees and stuff..

Yes, they were and no one is glorifying anything. The Island is haunted. It happens. That doesn't mean anyone thinks it's cool that someone died there, least of all two young children. I think more than anything people want to know why hauntings take place, but just because people are interested in ghosts doesn't mean they celebrate death.
