This is a hybrid red rose, right?

I don't think this is on Google or anything, so that's why I'm asking here (plus a general question about hybrids anyway)

I logged into my town to find this:


I THINK that it's a hybrid from my purple and orange roses, but it's kind of far off from what I usually see happen. Is this a hybrid, or is it just placed due to my beautiful town ordinance? And can I make a blue rose off of it if I breed another one from the purple and orange pair? Purple was created using white/white, and orange was red/yellow.

Step 1:
Use one of the following combinations to create "Hybrid Red Roses", or Red Roses that have an Orange and/or Purple parent.
Hybrid Red Rose = Orange and White Rose
Hybrid Red Rose = Orange and Purple Rose
Hybrid Red Rose = Red and Purple Rose

So, in short, yes, that is a hybrid red rose.

Oh okay, I'm glad that that could be a thing, I was worried about the placement as well. I hate making threads like these but I keep seeing conflicting information plus there are times i could have SWORN there was a hybrid red rose only to have bred the two and just keep getting red roses.
Are you sure the baby isn't too far from its' parents though? I only ever see it next to both of them when I breed in a diagonal pattern.

My hybrids generally spawn that way first off, then I have to move them. I think my first hybrid red rose came like that.
