anwho, no, even though it's her body she shouldn't do that.
She shouldn't, but I believe she has the right to do whatever she wants to do to herself. It's her body, her life.
Yeah, but it effects the others around her in a negative way. Don't you worry about her? I mean, that's like giving a baby a knife. During the teenage years the part of your brain that helps you think through your choices isn't fully developed yet, so that's another reason....
Babies don't have reason. It's not the same. If you give a teenager a knife they would know they shouldn't hurt themselves, yet they choose to. A baby obviously probably doesn't even know what a knife is, what it's called, what it's used for, etc.

I did worry for her. I actually cried a little for her, because I felt so bad about the fact that she was just showing it off and being proud of it. And if people think she's cool for that, she'll continue. If people tell her she's pathetic (Like I did) she'll continue. So be it. Yes, it affects me. But hey. She has the right to have total control over her actions and body whether or not it affects the people surrounding her in any way.
If I were to to pull my pants down and start peeing in public I know it's wrong, but it's my body, so does that make it right?

It's my eyes
It's public property
It's against the law

So no?

Maybe instead of being all emo and whatnot, she should harden up and deal with life like most other people in the world. Some are far worse off than her in life (I would think) and manage to focus on survivng without resorting to such hijinx to garner attention. Focusing on the bigger picture is more important than being all angry at society for a insignificant reason.

Ok, it's coffeh's feelings that she's affecting, it's her own body, she should respect it, it may not be against the law, but it's *censored.3.0*ing stupid.

I see where you're going with this. I'm not saying it makes it right because it's your body. It's not right in general, but she has the right to do what she wants to herself. If you want to pee in public, go for it. You have the right to do what you want (that doesn't mean it's right, however. You CAN kill someone, but most people choose not to because it's immoral, but you can still do it. You have that right, AKA free will,) not the right based on laws. Free will.

So, because she physiacally can cut herself, she has the right to do that, is that what you're saying?

What point does cutting oneself and acting like it is awesome prove again?
Cutting one self can make physical pain to "mask"/get her mind off the greater emotional pain, I think

And making look cool seems to give a reason to justify it

From my perspective, which is probably totally off

Yay. Ok, I can physically murder someone, does that make it right? No. But you may say "that's killing another person though, that's illegal" my rebuttal would be "if you start cutting yourself and die from it, then someone else gets depressed because you dies, then start cutting them self, and then they die from it, you just committed murder while you were dead"

Yes. Everyone will toughen up and hold hands in a circle around the world and sing koombiya.

Are shrinks supposed to be capitalized?

When do I get this letter 0:<

And if she suicides and makes someone else suicides, that not necessary "making" the other person suicide. When that person suicides, and they make suicide, is that illegal?

All depression comes from a source, so everyone is to blame for murder, no?

They may get depressed, they may not. Chances they'll make the same stupid mistake and cut themselves, too? Slim.

You're adding in superfluous circumstances to support your points and that's irrelevant, sir.
There are no ifs and/or buts.

It's their body and they're given free will which they can use to their advantage.
Good night :DD

Well, since you going to bed, I can't argue my point anymore, plus I feel I may have lost this one (but not the war)

with that being said I have one last thing to say

you are such a complete douche bag. Comments like this where you try and use logic in your favor don't work.

night ;)
