I have a friend (sort of, whatever) that does drugs and cuts cuts cuts. So anyways, I don't really care if she does either, it's her choice if she chooses to overdose or slit the wrong area.

Anyways, I think it's really pathetic. I mean yeah the cutting is stupid, but it produces endorphins, and if it makes her feel better...go for it. She thinks it's better than sex, k.

Now getting to my point, it's pathetic how some people are so prideful of cutting and find it something to brag and show off. Honestly, what the *censored.3.0*. Since when has cutting been something to be proud of and show the whole world?

Okay, cool. She had pills in her compact. Whatever, I don't care. Then, "Oh, Jenn, do you want to see what I have under them?"
"No."

Then, time to show and tell all of her cut-cutty scars! BEAUTIFUL WORKS OF ART. Oh? She hasn't finished the star yet? Awh! Oh? She has more on her ankle? That's fantastic!

I just can't comprehend how hurting yourself is something to show off. Okay you cut. Cool. Keep it to yourself or tell your really close friends so they can get you some help or something, but don't tell the whole world. Then, darling, you're just seeking attention. And that's kind of gross. And really, when I say I don't want to see your scars, I really mean I don't.
And then one of my other friend showed off hers, and apparently one of my guy friends cuts himself too. What the hell. Do you guys agree that it's pathetic to cut yourself just for attention, or just in general?

I mean, I'm a blunt and honest person. I told her, "Dude, that's *censored.3.0*ing pathetic" Just like that. What'd she say? "You want me to cut myself now?" And she pulls out her razors.

This girl whos sorta my friend (we got in a fight <_<),
she would always be like ; LOOK. then she would point to her wrists.
She would also say stuff like ; OMG! (insert rude teacher here) is such an ass. He is the reason i cut myself. The next day: OMG my mom is such an ass! SHES the reason i cut myself. Her reason would change everyday, I'm not kidding.

Yeah, but it effects the others around her in a negative way. Don't you worry about her? I mean, that's like giving a baby a knife. During the teenage years the part of your brain that helps you think through your choices isn't fully developed yet, so that's another reason....

Babies don't have reason. It's not the same. If you give a teenager a knife they would know they shouldn't hurt themselves, yet they choose to. A baby obviously probably doesn't even know what a knife is, what it's called, what it's used for, etc.

I did worry for her. I actually cried a little for her, because I felt so bad about the fact that she was just showing it off and being proud of it. And if people think she's cool for that, she'll continue. If people tell her she's pathetic (Like I did) she'll continue. So be it. Yes, it affects me. But hey. She has the right to have total control over her actions and body whether or not it affects the people surrounding her in any way.
