Father's Day Carnation
So one of the last fish I need in my main town is the Char.
I'm exploring my second town and see that there is a CHAR IN THE WATERFALL BEFORE I EVEN HAVE A ROD
im so salty bye

The Giant Snakehead Fish took 3 plus hours to catch for a player. That's the longest I waited. The player tried for the Char but caught a Easter Egg last night in my spring town.
A week ago the Boy player dropped by and the giant snakehead fish was there when he arrived.
Went home fished by the waterfall. His tent is next to the waterfall so I kept going in and out of the tent. He caught it in a short period time.

Just wait until you catch a dorado and then your inventory is already full of fish so it's automatically tossed and you're ripping your hair out because you've lost one of the rarest fish thanks to a bunch of bluegill and carp

don't you get prompted w/ an option to swap out a different fish when this happens?

If they were too far away from the river when they caught it, I don't think they would.

How can you be too far away from the river when you just caught a fish? Is there a platinum rod with a super long range that I don't know about?

This is what is happening to me right now with the nibble fish. I swear I've been 4 days trying to reel it in and I'm running out of patience (if I had any to begin with, lol).

Maybe their town was full of patterns and flowers. That happened to me too. What I don't get is why there's no option of swapping out a fish you have in your inventory for the one you've just caught. It simply says "but well, my inventory is full so I'll let it go."

Yeah, I usually fish in an area clogged with flowers and junk, but it gives me that message all the time when I have my inventory full of fish and continue fishing. It doesn't make sense either, since I'm not dropping the fish, I'm releasing it back into the river...

The other night the girl player took awhile to catch the Gar. Last night she dropped by the summer town and the Gar was waiting for her. In 20 minutes she caught another Gar, 3 Arapamia and 3 Arowana while looking for the Saddled Birchir.
90 minutes later the game gave up the Saddled Birchir, Blue Marlin and the Coelancanth. Went back to her town and she caught the Tuna, football fish, Char and the Oarfish.

The summer town caught her Coelancanth in a short period of time. Dropped by the March town and got the Oarfish. It took almost 2 hours to get the Tuna and Football Fish. There was a lot of please let this be the one.

i get what is called "Trigger happy" where i push the A button before the bobber goes down... same with Tomodachi Life and the proposals... -_- dang trigger happiness
