Don't get me wrong, I love it.

The team system is so infuriatingly unfair. I was at 94 in B+. I have not won a single match since then. I'm now B at 41. My teams stink while I work my butt off trying to even scratch the higher leveled opposing team.

I'm so mad right now.

@hidden owl
know the feeling. But I avoid Rainmaker mode like the plague.

Yeah, I feel you. Honestly, I will quit playing until I either get a well skilled squad together or they add in an Octoling DLC Story for single player.

Yeah, I gave up on the ranking system. I don't have enough friends to gather and go online with so I don't really see a point in me getting mad over trying.

It's extremely frustrating. The worst part is when a team member leaves mid-game and your rank still drops the normal amount. I had a losing streak one day where I dropped from B rank to C rank. It was infuriating. After I took I break, I had a winning streak and I managed to get to A-. After the craphole of C+ and B-, A- is actually pleasant because most of my teammates are somewhat decent.

Yeah. I was on B+ 1 today and guess what? I was one of two B+ inklings there. The rest were all A-. And we were both on the same team! And what is also really annoying is if you disconnect and your rank drops.

The disconnect point drops are done so that people who are losing don't just try to disconnect their system to avoid losing points.

Just like League of Legends all over again.

Literally this.

Ranked queues in all games suck because your team will always be bad and the enemy team will always be good.

The only thing I can say is that if you're good enough, you'll eventually climb. You might not carry every game, but you'll be a positive influence on your team every game and that adds up after a while.

This is what I needed to hear lol
well sometimes you have to lose, the problem is when that's all the time cx

Depending on your time zone I could help you get back up to B+ in squads. I'm currently A- myself if the mode is splat zones I'm pretty sure I can help out.

Rank Battle can be fun sometimes, but I just cannot seem to win at all once my rank gets up to B-. I've managed to get it up to B- twice now, and both times it dropped back down to C+ no matter how hard I tried. I'm back on C+ now after getting my rank up to B+ for the second time.

The team balancing is certainly terrible. You don't know how many matches I've faced where I was stuck with A/A+ (I'm S) against all S+. And the skill gap between S and S+ is CERTAINLY there. I really wish Nintendo would just get over themselves, do regional servers, and allow VC. It's really hard to coordinate anything with a simple Booyah! and C'mon! No one listens to those commands and you can't even warn your team if someone's camping/hiding. The blasted gamepad has a damn mic for a reason.

you might wanna specify that this is splatoon.

You should probably look at the location of this thread:

Well, the other day I was playing rainmaker, and one of the other team's team members got disconnected at the start, yet they still won. XD

The only solution is squadding with people i suppose but it is hard to find four people at a time :(
