Julian is in my campsite and my town is full.
This game is so cruel.
Every day when I have a free spot in town, there is no tent nor igloo around.
But as soon as that precious 10th spot fills, alas campers get a thrill
Setting up tents left and right, dreamie villagers filling my sights.
Perhaps one day a tent will be, when a spot I have free.
Perhaps one day this game won't lead me astray, but today is not that day.

I don't know why I made this a poem lol I just wanted to share my sadness of not being able to get Julian because this game likes to play dirty and knows how to get under my skin.
im tempted to go buy his amiibo card now..you wont win game

This situation and poem reaches me on a molecular level. I can relate :( . Hopefully, someday, the tables will turn. oh snap it rhymes too

this happens to me quite frequently as well

and when it does happen I just know somewhere in the world a nintendo dev smiles and laughs at my pain

It's a cruel, cruel world. You catch a stringfish when it's neither an objective nor a villager request. But as soon as it is, all you get are pond smelts.

Lol right! I spent like an hour or so trying to get a stringfish for initiative but eventually gave up as I had other things to do outside of NL.

My campsite luck is horse**** when I have an empty slot. Just this week, I've gotten Roscoe and Apollo. When I have an empty slot, I don't get ANY campers for EONNNSSSSS and when I do, they're typically ugly af.

**** this game :lemon:

It's always such a disappointing situation. :( A similar thing happened to me just today: I already have 10 villagers and today there's Merry camping.

At least the upside to this is that someone else can get that dreamie for themselves or hold that dreamie in their town for you, right? :D

Yup that exact thing happens to me too. It really sucks :/

Unfortunately no. You can't adopt villagers from other people's campsites :(

Can Diana show up at the campsite?

yes

I don't need the bells so if I catch a rare fish I keep it in my storage until someone asks for it.

I have tons of rare bugs and fish so if they say something like, "catch me a butterfly!" I can come back with a birdwing or something, or if they say, "catch me an ocean fish!" I can hand them a shark.

But next time you catch a stringfish or something, keep it in your storage so if/when your villagers ask for it, you don't have to fish for it for forever.

This is heartbreaking. When my town is full I absolutely dread walking in the tent/igloo.

Would it be possible to take note of the day your dreamie came to your campsite, wait for someone to move out, then TT back to that exact day and ask them to move in? Or will they no longer be there?

I relate to this so hard. I still remember walking into a tent and seeing Merengue, my #1 dreamie at the time, hanging out there. Of course I had 10 villagers, so all I could do was stare at her and try not to cry. :/

Also yes she can, that's how I got her into my town the first time.

Great, thanks for the info. Hopefully I don't have to wait forever lol - but I really want her, so I might just buy her.

Ugh, I hate that too!

I decided to build my campsite in Vista (did this before the update) right after I let someone move away, I use to do the camper reset thing in order to get a dreamie to show up faster.
For this thing to work it has to be the day after it was built.

Anyway, One day I decided to sit it down in a nice spot and paid it off while I had someone moving out.
Then the very next day when it was built and the villager was gone, I went over to my Town Hall when I spotted a plot right next to it! It was Avery (making him my 10th!) and he was a voided villager! I was so angry I actually screamed and was to the point of restarting my game lol.
The very next day, a dreamie: Cole, I still don't have him. But planning to move him to another town in the future and Caroline (the day after that!) showed up!

I got him to move out, but I had to let go Filbert in order to get rid of the garbage! I still hate Avery to this day!
