So I moved Cherry out recently and gave her to a friend because she had the default DIY furniture and my friend wanted her as I was looking to get another dreamy of mine Ankha today, however I accidentally (I'm an idiot) TT'ed a day forward because I wanted to get turnips to buy and sell but I saw that my plot was sold to MATHILDA and I'm so upset right now lol because I don't even know who she is!
This DIDN'T just happen...

I have a similar experience. I got two villagers to move out in pretty close proximity to each other. Diva moved out, then I got Stitches! Then, Keaton moved out, and I was looking for villagers on Nook islands, got bored, and forgot to set my time back before going to bed... Woke up to see.. Diva again. I wanted to die.
Oh my that is really unfortunate, I'm assuming she was a different diva?
I did the same thing by accident. I TT'd a day forward when I had set a plot down and didn't realize someone would move in if I hadn't invited anyone. :c At least now you'll know to be more careful next time! Some people have to learn the hard way sometimes xD

This literally happened to me the other day. I scanned Wolfgang amiibo to replace Fang. I pre-scanned Wolfgang in 2x before Fang was ready to move so I'd only have to do it one more time when Fang moved out. Right as he moved out, I went to scan Wolfgang for the third (and final) time, but I found out that I had a CAMPER on this day. Some Alligator blocked me from Wolfgang. I thought, okay, not the end of the world, I'll just TT to tomorrow and pray nobody moves into Fang's empty plot. Nah. Not happening. A G O R I L L A moved into Fang's empty plot that day so I couldn't get Wolfgang without forcing him out, which I didn't want to do because I didn't want to glitch my plot incase I let Wolfgang go to someone later. Extremely salty.

I did something similar too! I was island hopping and changed time to 6am, forgetting that reset is at 5am and saw no one on the island. Went back to check and Sylvia (also a kangaroo!) was moving in! I had to use an amiibo to force her out.
I am so, so, sorry this happened to you. The immense amount of pain this has caused you? Literally unbearable. I would have sent my game back to Nintendo immediately and filed a lawsuit for emotional distress.

I am so sorry, but what happened to Mello and coderp made me laughe so hard XD! Stay strong guys, it shall pass.
I placed a plot for my 9th villager the other day and spent all my precious hard earned tickets on island hopping for someone i like. It didnt go well and i just gave up. No one filled the plot in the next day but i just didnt have enough energy for playing. I should have done that trick where you set the clock back then play that day later or something, but it didnt cross my mind and now i am stuck with Merphy.

Aww, that's unfortunate. I had something like that happen, wanted to use my amiibo as soon as we could in-game to get Lolly, got super excited and plopped her house right next to mine. Scan her in, meet her, craft her thing, invite her and she didn't want to move in. So I looked into it and found out the three day wait on the amiibo characters. The very next day Spike stole her plot. Since it was only plot number 8, I couldn't kick him out either, I had to build a new plot for her. Then move Spike. Then move her. 100k later and she's finally in her rightful spot. Also since I'm not TTing it felt like an eternity.

I'm sorry that happened to you. My cherry glitched and a friend was summoning her through amiibo but Sheri took her plot. Now I can't even get rid of Sheri unless I kick my other villagers, and they are all my dreamies. I wish you could just kick out your 10th villager without kicking out someone else before.

That's one of the things that's annoying about this game. It forces villagers on you then in order to get rid of them you have to buy extra items with real life money to get rid of them. Annoying..
