Thinking of starting over...

So I recently got AC:NH a little over a week ago, I’ve had almost every other AC game and have always time travelled.
So I started this one the same as always and zipped through time, but this time I don’t know what came over me and I decided to play a couple days on normal time. I was at the point where I had Nooks Cranny built and the residential service tent had been replaced by a fancy building. The museum was now a building and I had just found Redd and bought the first painting. I decided to wait patiently for the museum to upgrade and had many fish/insects stacked by the next day, I was actually excited to turn my switch on!
At this point I realised that actually I love playing legit. Now I’m afew days down the line and have been planting trees and waiting for them to grow, inviting people to my island and waiting for them to move in.
I’ve had such a nice time working for things, but one the one hand I feel like I missed a lot of working towards things at the beginning, on the other hand, I reeeeeeeeally like my incense burner and papa bear. There was also a really beautiful meteor shower last night and I don’t know when I’ll see that again!
Ive tried weighing up the pros and cons but I need help to decide what to do

If you choose to restart, I’m sure someone wouldn’t mind holding your incense burner and papa bear for you! I personally think though that if you’re going to restart you should do it sooner than later I restarted my game and it was the best choice I ever made within ACNH.

If you want to restart at this point, I say go for it. It sounds like the biggest cons you have are item related, but you could ask someone to hold onto those items for you so you can get them back when you are settled in your new game.
