Thinking about a second copy.

I want to start cycling to help others out. I am thinking about getting an extra copy. I have been resetting half the day to try to get villagers I like due to being frustrated about certain ones. Which is what spurred me to think about it and how much easier it would be in the long run.
For you who have it, is Digital or physical better?
What is the risk of corruption with the digital, and if I got a new sd card, would I lose my game?
And could I pick up voided villagers on the same ds with two copies?

I think you should definitely get a 2nd copy (If your ready to pay hehe).
I have digital only because I didn't want my mum finding out I got two of the same copy x'D But I'd choose physical to be honest.

I have 2 physical ones... 1 for my 3DS and 1 for my husband's...
I have yet to get a voided villager from my 2nd copy... but I never activated the spotpass/streetpass thing for it either for this reason. =3
I use my 2nd copy to cycle villagers... but if I have to void a villager, I wait to do trades between the towns until someone adopts a different villager.

As soon as I get the valuable and reserved villagers out of my cycle town, I plan to reset it... continue making it a cycle town, but actually make it a town this time.

ah, I figured I might need an extra 3ds to get voided, I just wasn't sure. I cannot afford that one lol extra 200 dollars goes on bills not gaming

Yeah, since voids are brought over by wifi pools from visitors and street/spot passes... and if it is on the same console then you won't be able to do either of those. =3

My brother never played his 3ds xl so he sold it along with pokemon x for $100 to my husband.
It was a good deal so my husband took it... and now he doesn't steal my ds anymore. XP

I've been thinking about getting a second copy too... I can always borrow by boyfriends 3ds when I need to switch. You could see if there are some cheaper used 2ds's that you could buy (should at least be cheaper than getting another 3d xl)

I just got one borrowed from a friend at work who didn't like the game. He wanted to wipe it so I asked if I could play around on it.
Best Decision Ever! Last night I got my perfect map, today I got one of my dreamies! I'll get him another copy.... or a game of his choosing, but he's not getting this one back!

And cartridge IMO but my daughter wants to get the download so she can check on things when she's on another game. This won't be a problem since we both have a 3ds and there's a 2ds still here. She says her new town will be called Colorbar ( it's the closest she can get to color-barf and have it inhabited with eyepopping colored villagers.... and she wants me to design the walkways.... not sure if that's a compliment or an insult.)

haha! that's really funny, how do you plan on doing the walkways if that town theme in mind.

I think she was making a snide reference to the walkway I have now - I like it. You can see a bit in the background here. It goes very nicely with the fairytale theme.

If you really want a second copy of the game, I suggest you wait until April 22nd. That because ACNL is one of the 5 best selling 3DS games that will drop to $29.99. It's not much, but still better than purchasing it full price.

It's already dropped in price; I just got my 5th copy off Amazon yesterday for that.

Anyway yeah as you can already see I have 5 copies. Two is nothing to me anymore lmfao, go for it. All of them are physical, however. I don't trust or like digital and never will.
