What have you learned from your donations to the museum?

I forget most of them but some i remember for example:

- sharks have no bones (I really didn't know this lol)
- that the Hercules beetle can lift half its own weight or something
- the coelacanth was thought to be a myth and was sighted in Africa
- the blowfish is very poisonous

And more.

So, it's not really the museum that's taught me new things, but the game certainly has.

When I moved last year I took note of the pretty little bushes outside my house. In the spring time, they flowered with like these little bright pink star-shaped blooms. At the same time in-game, the azaleas bloomed in my town. Now I can pick out azalea bushes in yards as I drive by. It's funny, but identifying and learning of plants is something I've always wanted to do, but just never took time to learn.

You're def rigjt! I shoulde put as the title "things you have learned from the game" because i certainly have learned a lot about flowers and bushes lol I see a lot of hydrangeas around my house in springtime : )

I can't recall anything from the museum (I remember I've had a few moments I've been all "Oh wow I never knew that" but with my horrid memory I can't recall what they were). One thing I've learnt from the game in general is the starboard is the right side of a ship. And a lot of flower names from breeding hybrids and planting bushes. (And probably a whole lot of other stuff I can't remember)

It has helped be recognize different fish and insects. My boyfriend and I went on vacation to San Francisco this past summer and went to a few natural history/science museums. I was proud of myself for out-doing the avid outdoorsman (the bf), being able to identify some of the creatures we saw before seeing their description cards ;)
