Villager dialogue was so much more flavorful before, but I don't think I'll ever forget that one lol. It's hard to forget it every time my villagers say the same mixed bag of 4 sentences every time I speak to them

ikr .... even just back in nl it was more interesting. I have noticed that they added a bit more to nh, but not much. now when you "click" on a bug or fish in a villagers house they'll say something ab it, and they didn't before.... ofc, that's hardly enough to compensate for all the interesting dialog they're still missing

Oh, that's how I carried my tools. And they had to be in a specific order, so I'd know what I had and be able to grab them quickly. Plus, you always had to keep one letter slot open, so if you had that awesome piece of furniture you'd been waiting for ever to get your hands on, it was hidden from view as you went back to your house. If it was in your pockets, guarantee a villager would come up and swipe it from you.

they always ask stuff you’re carrying. even when i’m just walking from the dock basket to re-tail. it was so annoying i keep un-orderables outside, but items i wanted to keep inside the letter. the things we do in this game are just hilarious. ac players are some of the most inventive players out there. we do the most ridiculous tricks to bypass game rules or mechanics.

What ever happened to Phineas? Did he just get fed up of selling balloons or did that crazy Redd diddle him out? Just the city in general from city folk gave the game a different atmosphere, kind of wish we could take a boat out to another island much like the city or 'Main Street' from New Leaf which feature a whole bunch more stores etc.

I feel like if I ever go back to playing New Leaf I am going to cringe every time I have to press Y to pick up a flower because picking my flower buds in NH is so triggering lol (idk if thats the right word to use there but I just hate it so much)

Also the other day I forgot the badge guy and badges existed! Replaced by Nook Miles, I guess...

i wouldnt say i've forgotten anything but there are things i miss (the plaza tree, villager visits, the really angry/mean dialogue from acgc, the dump from acgc, the little soccer balls u could kick around from acgc, PHINEAS BADGES, traveling by train )

i literally carried letters around that had my tools attached and the names of my tools written in them skjdjsksjf cant believe we lived like this

I preferred carrying letters with items, especially bells.

Don't forget 95% of our inventory is garbage.
Crafting materials, tools and spares and customization kits.

I'm starting to loathe this game.

I don't think we will ever get the awesome NL items back.

I miss using letters to hold more stuff. I used it for less used tools (slingshot, wetsuit), to have medicine on hand, or to hide furniture/clothing/fruit.

Moving flowers was so much easier in NL too.

what doesn't make sense is that you wouldn't even use a shovel for that and the shovel was invincible.
now in NH it's very weak and you have to use it to move flowers.
seems a bit screwy to me

This. I can't recreate some of the rooms I did in NL without the mannequins back. And from the looks of it, they're probably not coming back.

Asking to do petitions from villagers and then traveling to another town to do them. Also, taking Katie to another town. And on the same note, trying to reunite Katie with her mom.

I know some people hated this stuff, but I kind of liked it. It lit a fire under some of my friends butts so that I/they visited. It gave them a reason to and then we just hanged out in the game doing some tours or whatever.

God y'all are activating so many lost memories in my brain, I remember petitions too.
I also just remembered that we were able to fly a flag outside our house on CF once we paid off all the mortgages. That was like the only thing we could customize on the exterior besides roof color lol

I miss when a tool was breaking ( the axe, the only tool that ever broke back then RIP ) it would crack, and give you a general idea of when it would bust in your hands. I constantly live in fear when I go around breaking rocks - will it break on this hit? What about this hit? Who knows.

If my tools would crack I'd be like OK time to have a backup of this baby in my pockets.

I forgot about this until my friend reminded me of it today.

Yeah I don't get it. It's such a lazy oversight. I know there are people who can determine when it will break by counting each usage, but really? Should we really have to do that? It can't be that hard to program in a indicator of some sort.

I miss the plaza tree so much. And it’s funny how the animals walked in New Leaf, they had a bounce in their step. lol
I know people say that they don’t like the graphics now because of New Horizons but imo I still like the graphics. It doesn’t look horrible in my eyes.

I LOVED the plaza tree! It was so nice seeing it grow along with your town! I wish they would have carried that over into NH.
