Things you cant believe you have so much of in your storage!

Materials mainly for me. Mostly iron nuggets, and surprisingly, I have a lot of star fragments lol.
I also have quite a few fossils.

Im half way from the limit (around 800ish) I didnt realize how many and how much types of wood I had and stone, which is nice because I need/want a lot of stone DIY items which cost quite a bit of stone and some other wooden furniture which I want too. I also had quite a bit of duplicate regular furniture and just some furniture and clothing I don't think I would really use anywhere but I dont want to have to clear everything out, I figure I will just do it when I really need to when Im nearing the max capacity :)

I hoard butterflies, wasps, and sharks. I also have a tone of seashells because I pick them all up at night when nooks is closed and forget to sell them. Same with fossils.

nmt,,,, i have way too many for someone who only manages to go island hopping maybe once or twice a month lmaoo

seasonal materials : snowflakes, maple leaves, cherry blossom, etc. - hope to sell them off here though

I've started selling nearly everything that can be repurchased to the twins... Only keeping what sparks joy 😂

For some reasons, I have lots of different chairs in my storage and I don't even use them at all. Also a bunch of general stuff which I bought from Nook's Cranny but actually don't need.

Lots of random materials and a lot of books and cardboard boxes lol. I always think I'm going to need them to card other things and then I don't. I also have a lot of natural wood chairs and benches that I replaced with the iron type 😅 Most of the storage space is clothing though.

I had a lot of unused furniture and wallpaper and flooring in my storage. If it was reorderable and I wasn't planning on using them any time soon, I sold them. Any clothing that I was regularly cycling through or wearing was also sold.

But the most is definitely materials. I sold the ridiculous mount of tree branches and stones I had. I now have the rule of only have three rows of materials allowed. The exception would be iron nuggets and gold nuggets. The other material that I have that is excessive are star fragments. I plan on keeping a stack of each zodiac fragment but anything else has to go after I craft the zodiac item.

I think the other stuff would be wrapping paper and fencing.

Clothes, but that's kind of my own fault since I'm a hoarder af.
I should really clean and sell out stuff sometime though lol.

I’m in the sinking clothes ship with many others it seems. They take up at least half of my storage with random furniture/items you cannot order taking up another large chunk.

Materials take up the least amount of space (approx. 5-6 lines) because I don’t craft as much.

Mostly materials, clothes (cuz if I like a clothing item I buy every colour of it lol) 😂 and NMTs for trading purposes

Clothes. I have a ridiculous amount of shirts, dresses, shoes, socks, hats, and accessories in my storage. I'm planning to create more player characters (once I decide on their names) to spread it out among more people instead of just crammed into my main character's closet.

I just cleaned out my storage that other day and most of what I had was clothing. I don't even change my characters clothing that often, but I like to buy cute clothing when I see it for my villagers or for me!

I'm also redecorating/redesigning my island, so I stored all the items I had out. My storage has a lot of wooden stakes and star clocks in it currently because of this. I didn't know I crafted so many of these two items.

So many freakin' rocks. A rock empire in there.

There's just not really any appealing things to craft out of the rocks, though, so they'd obviously accumulate as I grind for iron ore, which actually is useful. Anyone have a solution for that...?

Dresses. My character doesn't even wear dresses. I've been hoarding them for if I ever make a second character.

bugs & fishes i CAN believe because i’m waiting for flick & CJ anyway but... softwood & clay... can other diys have a use of these instead? esp softwood

it would have been clothes but i did a clean up of it. i just wanted them in my catalog, but i’ll just re-order them again when needed.

Clothes. I don't wear a lot of them but I keep them in case my friends decide to dress up in some kind of crazy theme when we meet up, otherwise I would just get rid of everything I'm unlikely to wear that's orderable. Also softwood, all I wanted was normal wood :/ I used to have a lot of rocks but gave them to a friend since she needed them.
