Man, it's been ages since I played an AC game. Last one I played was WW, so if my memory serves me right, I remember being able to "store" items in my received letters. I also miss collecting the weird but entertaining Gyroids (I don't think those would do well in NH) lol

Also miss from ACNL the way the switch was hard to find but at least it had mini games on it and i got to tell you a used to play them every now and then , quite often to be honest, it was a nice touch

I still miss the original GC feature where you could find SNES games & actually play them in game. Such a cool Easter Egg.

Villagers coming over, villagers sending letters when the move out, flea market day, deep sea diving (though I read this is to be added), NES games, morning aerobics, the dump (and the little balls that would spawn around town), igloos, the police station (copper, booker), gyroids, brewster, harriet (hoping she returns as a wig seller), gracie, the post office (pelly, pete, phyllis..), tortimer, Kapp'n, Katrina, the dream suite/ something like it.. UFO'S, a whole lotta furniture, violets, carnations, many villagers.

Im sure I can think of more..

Features I miss:

• Balloons and bunny balloons from CF (which returned in NL). Also, though not as much, bubble makers.
• Mini games from NL.
• I would've loved to see GCN villagers that were cut return (I still miss Emerald, lol).
• I'm still hopeful morning aerobics will make a return (if I'm not mistaken, it was a summer event).
• WW's flea market was pretty cool.
• Not sure if it's back or not (haven't checked), but as far as I know, igloos are not back and would love them back. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
• Specific NPC's that I'm hopeful will return: Katrina, Booker and Copper, Kapp'n, Tortimer, etc.

This thread should be renamed "things you miss from ACGC that never returned". There were a lot of nice little touches in the Gamecube game that a lot of us didn't fully appreciate at the time but became very noticeable when they were removed and we're still waiting for them. The ball, the diary, the statues, etc. The NES games are not coming back for financial reasons. There are other things missing from WW, CF, and NL, but those things don't stick out as much as the missing GC features.

Same here! I'll be devastated if I lose my villagers, I hope they'll let us back up our save files soon, I heard they're working on that.

I also miss the flea markets from WW, I miss the little sports ball you could find each day on the GameCube as well. I also want banana palm trees from New Leaf back!

Also, as other people have said, the missing furniture sets, exterior house renovations like the castle, being able to change how the town hall looks, miss that stuff too.

Mood lighting (as in, adding a bunch of pink lamps to your house would make the lighting pink in new leaf) quite a few fruits, and music boxes.
