The film is really nice.

It really feels like Animal Crossing, and I was very impressed with how well they managed to incorporate a story (that had some pretty deep emotional moments) into the world of Animal Crossing.

The movie was great, but just a little on the girly side I don't mind too much but i want them to make another that is a little more manly or mature... i dunno what the word is.

It's a very sweet movie. I personally think it's good because it's on the brighter side, but still managed to find emotional moments. The atmosphere (the atmosphere, NOT the story) reminds me of KiKi's delivery service. It's a cute, childish movie, but it still incorporates themes universal to adults and kids. This is just a personal preference, but I also loved the animation and how the village was designed.

Now that you mention it, juicebox, the atmosphere is like Kiki's Delivery service. As I was watching it way back when I kept getting this nostalgic comfortable feeling and I wasn't sure what it was! The moment you said that movie's title brought it all back!

I think it's because the plot isn't about fighting evil or anything like that- it's a realistic emotional story where some larger than life things happen, but it's pretty close to being a realistic scenario.
