Theories about your villagers?

Ever since mint moved into my new leaf town back on September 14th, Mint has always been hanging out with Pecan. Mint goes into Pecan's house and vise versa, every single day Mint asks me to deliver a package to Pecan. They even slept on my town bench together! They hang out so much I think they might be related like Chrissy and Francine are. Sure, Mint has different eyes then Pecan and Pecan is a brown squirrel while Mint is light green, but ether they are related or really good friends. So do you guys have anything like that in your town's/island's? This can be any animal crossing game.

That's funny because for me it is also Mint but instead of Pecan, she hangs out with Hugh all the time in my New Leaf town. Both of them were starters, so they were together since the beginning. They visit each other, celebrate their birthdays together, send each other gifts, and the other villagers in my town love to gossip about how close they are. Hugh will often talk about how Mint makes fun of him when he wants me to change his catchphrase. I've also caught them taking evening strolls together around town.

So I like to think that they have a very close friendship and maybe even an innocent crush-type thing going on between them.

I had that for a very long time on my NH island with Judy and Marshall, they would always be around each other outside and often when I visited Judy's house Marshall would be there and nearly every present he asked me to deliver would be for her. Whenever they were chatting outside it would always be the one about the play where Marshall would be a prince who needed saving by a kiss but Judy always disagreed so to me they seemed like very close friends but Marshall had a crush which wasn't reciprocated.

In New Leaf, Blanche and Olaf were best of friends just like that! Always visiting each other’s houses, playing outside with each other, asking for packages, Olaf even showed up for Blanche’s birthday! Then, after taking a break from New Leaf for about a month or so, Olaf randomly moved away. Blanche was almost always in her house after that. I felt terrible because their relationship was ruined

I have a theory that Del is a Navy veteran based on his design (which is supposed to be based on a Japanese naval ship) and his poster, which has him dressed up as a sailor. I also ship Del and Tiffany together because they like sending gifts to one another and they like to visit each other quite a bit, which is adorable. Considering they're both mature, old souls, I think it works.

i have something similar on my island with judy and maple
they are always together, making me pass gifts to eachother and they go to eachothers houses very often
it's funny because the first day maple moved in, judy was singing outside her house while she was unpacking

i gave them a few similar outfits for example, maple has a pink fairy dress and judy has a blue one
and they always wear them at the same time lol
pretty sure they are girlfriends, at least they are on my island

Mentioned it already in a couple of other threads, but will say it again. Back in new leaf Flurry and Rodney were inseparable in my town. It was cute, like they recognised their own species. I never liked Rodney, but I fully appreciated his adorable friendship with my little fave, Flurry.

This happened the same to me but with Marshal and Tangy, when she was still living in my town. They would constantly visit each other (sometimes even several times a day), and talking about how good they were together and such. Nowadays I already know that was probably a RNG coincidence, but gosh, it was so often! I was so sure they were having an affair or something!

And a little thing I picked up the first time I tried the original AC for the Game Cube... but I'm convinced that JoeyxMallary is pretty canon. I mean, it's literally written on a desk furniture! What I don't know if it's requited or one-sided. Is Joey crushing on the beautiful lady? Or is it Mallary crushing on the baby-ed chill-out guy? Oh, the drama!

I think Mac has a thing for Bea. Bea was sitting in her yard and Mac plopped down on the seat next to her. Shortly after, Bea got up and walked away. Mac just ended up leaving, but when he got up he was sad. When I talked to him, he told me he’s not in the mood or something similar. It sounds like love drama and Bea isn’t having it.

Apollo seems super into Tiffany all of a sudden. He hangs around outside her house, often sitting in her little front yard. When she's out and about he seems to constantly be talking to her, like multiple times a day or seemingly showing off to her by singing or flexing etc. Once he even zoomed off in that little run they do when playing, but it looked like he ran away in shyness when she waved/greeted him.

Katt and Tabby hang out a lot inside and outside together and I think they might be gay for each other. They seem like a badass couple.

Ahh i have a lot of theoried bc i like giving my villager some kind of lore to decorste their house exterior accordingly! For example i used to have julian as a villager and bc of his looks + the inside of his house i thought that he was an expert onnasteonomy and filled his house exterior with the celeste items and even gave him a little star observatory where i go to make wishes whenever theres shooting stars!
another one is that since audie and whitney hanged out together so much i thought "oh they must be dating!" And gave them a shared backyard <3 i also think that fang is like whitneys older relative since they kind of look alike and he talks like old people do hahaha

Lily and Puddles are always doing things together, I see them fishing together, reading together, eating together, exercising together, yoga together...
I have personally headcanoned them as sisters for the longest time, actually Lily's New Leaf April fools day information says she's the oldest of three sisters and Puddles is a younger twin sister, so since I headcanon Lily as being older then Puddles then this is slightly true...
