Themed Town Ideas!

Thought this would be a fun idea, and would be nice for people to check, if they ever want a theme
im sticking with my food one and Azalea is normal, but that hasn't stopped me from making up more ideas.. and heard ideas off others :3


Asian Theme
Normal: Pekoe, Coco
Peppy: Pinky
Snooty: Greta
Uchi: Phoebe
Lazy: Chester, Clay (based off an asian statue, cant remember the name)
Jock: Genji
Cranky: Kabuki
Smug: Ken

FairyTale
Normal: Fauna (Bambi), Kiki (Witches Cat)
Peppy: Apple (Poison Apple)
Uchi: Muffy (Witch)
Snooty: Willow (Mary had a little lamb)
Smug: Julian (Unicorn)
Lazy: Prince (The cursed Prince now a frog), Drago (Dragon)
Cranky: Wolfgang (The big bad wolf), Gruff (Billy goats gruff)
Jock: Sterling (Knight)

Mythical
Normal: Coco
Snooty: Ankha (Egyptian Goddess)

What other ideas have you thought of ^^ this could be a collaboration

I was thinking a bit about a Nordic-themed town.

For example, it might have villagers like Erik (elk/reindeer), Drago (Norse mythology reference to the serpent in the world tree), Rolf (Siberian tiger), and Hans (the yeti).

I'm not totally sure on female male villagers, but Freya and/or Friga would be nice to have due to the mythology associated with those names.

I thought of having a space theme or Oasis/Desert theme. Basically, the space theme path would look like the moon w/ craters and all the villagers would have the lunar horizon in their homes, i.e. Octavian, Filbert, Wendy, etc. The pwps would include stadium lights, solar panels, round lights, signs, etc.

The oasis theme would be super simple. Cut down all the trees. Only have fruit trees around the pond as the town in the river could pretend to be the nile river (even though the nile river is super wide).

I'm going for a nature-woodland-forest theme in my new town, Birdsong, which has yet to be created.

Villagers:

Fauna (deer)
Erik (deer)
Molly (duck)
Bill (duck)
O'hare (rabbit)
Deirdre (deer)
Carmen or Dotty (Rabbits)
Whitney (night time wolf)
Fang (night time wolf)
Poppy (tree squirrel)

I think they're all related to woodland. Wolves, not so much, but they still do come out in the woods at night.

I'd have my town with the cabin exterior, hidden within many fir trees.

I'd have apples as my native hopefully, and have a Disney princess QR dress (snow white or Rapunzel)

I was thinking about how fun it could be to make an idol/pop star/kpop themed town! All the interiors could be entertainment-related things, like music and film etc. There could be like a record store with a signing going on it! Concerts, variety shows, dance studios, clubs, etc.
I didn't really think about what would be outside, but I suppose everything would have to be modern style!

For villagers, I thought of Marshal, Chief, Broccolo, Francine, Chrissy, maybe Fuchsia?? I'm not sure past that.

If I ended up buying a second game, I'd definitely do this, but I'm not sure I'd buy a second game just for it.

Also, I thought before of making an all-penguin town where it's always winter and calling it Iceburg....xD

I was, in fact. However, I realized that a theme like that, with specific villagers, might be a bit restrictive for me.

After all, one of my goals is to befriend many, many different villagers and earn equally many villager pictures. So, I went with a citrus theme/color scheme, that wouldn't lock me in to any particular animals.

Was thinking about making a horror themed village suggesting a story ala-Aika village and such, but with more of a scifi influence.

That's so wierd! I was just thinking yesterday about how Lobo kind of looks like Wolf O'Donnell. Then I thought: "Wolf's name in Spanish had better be Lob O'Donnell..."
