I keep on thinking of these awesome themes that I want to make my town into but it's beginning to become annoying because I'd have to buy 48475849 copies of AC:NL to supply my creative spark xD

Anyone wish that you could make multiple towns on one copy? I really want to carry out a theme on my first town but that would mean getting rid of town number 1 (I already have two) which has a zen theme.

Arghh....I'm so conflicted. Any themes you're dying to do that you can't?

I wanted to be able to making something that would reflect Lady gaga but that is really impossible! I
Wanted to try Zen also but that would mean ruining my whole town! I wish I could have loads of towns on one! I've thought about digging up all of my other characters, placing them at each side of the map and making 4 different themes in each quarter!

I have four different characters, but when I try to theme their area I really can't except for a few tiles because there is no room for any PWP to help me out. And then there are those villagers who take up a LOT of room with their own houses. Selfish! :P

Yeah, I could imagine that you could find some awesome paths to help with that. For me, I want to make a town inspired by the Wizard of Oz, I made a villager list that would be cool.....maybe someone else wants to try this theme? You'd use paths to make the yellow-brick road, castle-houses to make the Wicked Witch's home and a pretty green castle for the Emerald City. I kinda wanna reset just to do this because it sounds so fun.

Here's the villagers:
Peggy-Dorothy
Elvis- The Cowardly Lion
Ribbot- The Tin Man
Jacques- The Scarecrow
Muffy-The Wicked Witch of the West
Willow: Glinda
Prince: The Wizard
Monty and Tammi- Flying Monkeys
Walker-Toto

I'm making a Star Fox themed town atm :) .. Gotten Chief (Fox) and Phil (Falco) so far :)

Lol I remember you talking about that, sounds really awesome. Thing is with themed towns you have to really commit, and I'd have to put in twice the effort for two towns.

What you could always do is create all of the themes, but video each one so that you can always go back and appreciate it in the future.

Not sure if it's ok to unearth your own old threads, but I remember making this and I had another idea :/

Winnie the Pooh Town!

Name: AcreWood, or 100-Acre
Mayor: Christopher /or/ Robin
Villagers:
Teddy- Pooh
Rowan- Tigger
Dizzy- Heffalump
Curly (or spork)- Piglet
Kitt- Kanga and Roo (this works so well)
Roscoe- Eeyore
Doc, Gaston or O'Hare- Rabbit

I guess for the last 3 you could use rabbits and mice to fill up a woodsy town (plus they work as Rabbit's "friends and relations")

Someone should use this idea!!

I have several towns planned. I want to do a pink town, a tropical town, an unpopulars town, bunny town, cat town, just another town for more dreamies. I know this feel.

Ahh, I feel your pain.lol.I wish I had a bunch of copies too.I have sooo many ideas. My Farmtown ended up with two themes.A farm, and nursery rhyme characters. My Joy town was a storybook theme, and later became a 4 seasons too.Maybe you could do the same?Try and mix two ideas together.

yea, it would be cool to give people theme ideas, or everyone gets another copy and goes on a theme binge, and we share our progress/towns together and help eachother for like a "Town showcase" two/three/four months later lol

The Winnie the pooh town idea sounds so cute.He was my favorite growing up.I have all these fun ideas in my mind right now, but I would need to make a lot of patterns to do them, and I am terrible at it.

Someone on the forums was talking about making multiple themed towns a while ago, actually.

Their plan was to finish a town, update the dream address to save it, and then reset the town. Then build the new theme town and make a dream address to save it when it was done as well.

It would be kind of sad to reset so much hard work, but it would live on forever via dream, and that's how most people visit cool towns anyway. o:

Just an idea, anyway.

that's a really cool idea, but I think dream towns disappear after a while, which sucks.

plus, like you said i don't think i could reset after all the work put into it.

I have a second copy that I'm using to cycle with right now, but in August when I go back to school I'm gonna restart it (after I get all the good villagers out of course) and do a second town. I wanted to do a city theme, but my sister is talking about doing one on her second copy, so now I kind of want to do something else. I'm leaning towards the tropical town.

I heard they only disappear if no one updates or visits them after a long time. o: After all, Aika's been around for how long now?

But yeah. Deleting all that hard work is the biggest drawback.

I really really wish I had a second town to do a... green/farm theme!! something that's reminiscent of harvest moon ; u ;

i have 2 towns but it's a cycle town so i don't want to spent so much time on it but i do want to do a civil war theme to my main town because there are 4 normals 3 lazies and 3 snootys but i wish i plot reseted like the villagers will stay with ther personalitys and there house would be together!

i'd do a modern or sci-fi theme if I could. Or a farm theme. But currently, Iam just doing a forest theme.
