I used see him more on the trade thread (haven't checked it recently) which gives me hope that all the peeps who have 2nd copies on here may get him in their campsite and give him to you. I have never see Merengue come up, so the good news is you're not looking for her!

Merengue lovers, maybe she'll become more common like Tangy has recently. I can't believe nobody has had a Merengue!

Merengue just started getting popular this week because I came across her in my campsite when I first started my town and thought "she's cute but not rare enough"...if only I can TT back in time in real life haha I would have given her away...although there's still a chance since oddly Ankha came to my campsite twice

There's a spreadsheet in the OP where everyone can list all of their dream villagers to my knowledge It's publicly accessible, but I think most serial gifters are TTing a lot so they want people who are online and can take a villager right then so that they can continue gifting.
