Stealing is horrible but I can at least see why some people do it - getting things for free/cheap, but stealing villagers without properly trading and messing someone's town up just sounds sadistic to me :/

I have Beautiful Town in effect and my TTing sprees have done nothing to my town because of it. It's worth your while.

I think there were a few people giving away Apollo, I don't remember.

Totally agree with this, and AC reinforced it for me yesterday with my Tangy trade. For those that don't know, all of my dream villagers came from people being kind enough to give them to me. I didn't do trades, just gave my unwanteds away. Yesterday arranged to trade my Hamlet for Tangy. Guess what, as soon as the person came and got Hamlet, Tangy was in my campsite! Didn't have to trade at all, and now someone else will have a Tangy! Then, as if divine intervention, I got Bob here too! Karma.

You don't even have a ton of fossils and gyroids? My town stayed fine, minus a few weeds, but man oh man the gyroids!
